Baby Led Kitchen offers high-quality, 'road-tested' recipes that are safe for babies aged 6 months and up to eat independently. Created by mum of three, foodie and Instagrammer @babyledkitchen, all the recipes are nutritionally balanced, easy for babies to eat by themselves, quick to cook and budget-friendly. No slaving away at a hot stove or hunting round supermarkets for hard to find ingredients! There is no upper age limit to any of our recipes, they can be enjoyed by the whole family. We do not hide premium content behind an in-app purchase - once you've purchased the app, all updates and recipes are free for life. Come and join our community.

Best baby led weaning app out there!
When I started researching baby led weaning, I initially found it so overwhelming as there was so many different recipe books and ideas out there. Some books called for making baby’s food separately, others called for ingredients I had never purchased in my life, let alone could pronounce! Then one magical day I came across this app, and the rest as they say mamas, is history. This app is so brilliant, I can’t say enough about it! What I really love is that the recipes are for the whole family and most of the ingredients are already store cupboard staples. Not to mention the recipes are so yummy and are regularly updated. My son is now 2 and still loves these recipes. If you’re looking to start baby led weaning, then look no further than this little gem of an app.

Versatile recipes
Used this app from weening stage to now, recipes are easily adaptable and we have used them to create meals for us as a family too.

Love this app! Use is all of the time! Used it a lot when my little one was first eating and now he is 3 I use it still! Such simple recipes which don’t break the bank and user friendly app! Love following Jo on Instagram too! Such a relatable person!!!!!
Some recipes are vague
I’ve struggled with a few of the recipes - simple things like knowing if the oven temp is fan, how many muffins/loaves to expect to make, whether butter should be melted (and when to add as recipe doesn’t mention it), should basil be chopped…list goes on 😕 there’s no mechanism to provide feedback on recipes or ask questions and the app hasn’t been updated in 2 years (I’ve had it for just over 2 years). That said, there are some great ideas and I’ve used lots of the recipes - I’ve just had to use my intuition and freestyle some of them!

Amazing yummy recipes!
I’ve been using this app almost daily ever since my son was 6 months old (he’s now nearly 2). The family dinners are wonderful, I can cook one meal that everyone will eat. This app regularly saves my sanity when I don’t know what to cook. I love it!
