### *---- "Unprofessional and Possibly Biased Hiring Practices"
I recently had a disappointing experience with Bacon while trying to apply for a holiday warehouse job advertised at McGee & Co. on Facebook. The job, which paid $20 an hour, sounded ideal, so my friend, our girlfriends, and I all reached out to a representative named Tiffany for more information. We were all eager to apply, so we downloaded the app, created accounts, and completed registration as she instructed.

After nearly a week without updates, both my friend and I were informed that we got the job, but our girlfriends did not. When we followed up, Tiffany claimed this was because they suddenly “didn’t need as many people as expected.” However, all of us had called within a day of each other and were among the first to express interest. Adding to our confusion, another friend who called a day or two later than us was also hired, which made the “limited spots” explanation seem inconsistent.

To make matters worse, the day before our shift, my friend and I received notifications that we were no longer needed, as they had once again “adjusted” the number of workers required. This last-minute change was incredibly unprofessional, especially after we had been told we were confirmed for the role.

Overall, this experience has left me questioning the professionalism and fairness of Bacon’s hiring practices. It felt as though gender might have played a role, given the lack of clear, consistent reasons for why our girlfriends were not hired despite similar qualifications and timing. Employers should be transparent about staffing needs and avoid last-minute cancellations, especially after promising positions to applicants.

### *---- "Keyboard not working"
I tried to sign up for this service, and my keyboard either won’t react to what I’m typing, or it will go one letter at a time Backwards if I go from one line to the next. Please look into this and update the app. Please and thank you.
