## Bafang Go Description
Bafang Go app integrates the eBike control function, which supports real-time checking of the eBike status (power, level, speed) and riding track, and the built-in navigation system can plan the optimal route to avoid congestion and steep slopes.Users can customise the power parameters of levels to suit different scenarios, and freely switch the interface via vertical screen (navigation/level information) or horizontal screen (real-time speed/mileage), and synchronously switch on/off the navigation voice.Riding data is automatically generated into overview, static parameters and visualisation charts, and synchronised to Strava with one click for training analysis and social interaction.

EBike Control and Status Management
Connect to your eBike via Bluetooth and get key information such as battery level and fault codes in real time.
You can set the riding parameters for different levels of the eBike to achieve a diversified riding experience for the user.

Navigation and Route Planning
After entering the destination, the APP automatically plans a friendly route to avoid congestion and steep slopes.
During the navigation process, the estimated arrival time and remaining mileage are synchronously displayed, and the voice prompt switch is supported.

Riding Data Visualisation
Overview Module: Quickly review the core cycling indicators and support the generation of streamlined data reports.
Chart Analysis Module: Analyse cycling performance through graphs to help adjust training plans.

Data Interconnection
The Strava platform is seamlessly connected to the system, synchronising data including mileage, speed profile and energy consumption to meet the needs of social sharing and professional analysis.

### *---- "BAFANG Go is currently completely unusable"
BAFANG Go is currently completely unusable for me.

My existing account worked normally for weeks. Then, without me changing anything, I suddenly could no longer log in.

The app requires a four-digit CAPTCHA every time you log in – which is already difficult to understand for an e-bike app in 2026. Even worse, the CAPTCHA itself is often extremely difficult to read, with coloured, thin and distorted characters and distracting lines. Some codes are barely legible even on a modern high-resolution iPhone OLED display.

But the real problem is that the verification system simply does not work.

I enter the CAPTCHA exactly as displayed by the app. BAFANG Go responds with “Code incorrect” and immediately generates another code.

Again. And again. And again.

Password recovery is no solution either. The app asks for another verification code that is supposed to arrive by email – but the email never arrives, including in the spam/junk folder.

I have spent more than 60 minutes trying to log into an existing account that previously worked perfectly well.

This is absolutely unacceptable.

What makes this even more frustrating is that similar login/verification complaints were already being reported in July. It is now almost a month later, and the problem has obviously still not been resolved.

BAFANG: please finally fix the programming of your login and verification system.

Why does an already registered bicycle owner need to solve a poorly readable CAPTCHA simply to log into an e-bike app in 2026? This is not online banking. It is an app for a bicycle.

Modern authentication methods such as Face ID, passkeys and trusted-device sessions have existed for years.

An e-bike app should make owning and riding the bicycle more enjoyable. BAFANG Go currently achieves exactly the opposite.

When an app becomes so frustrating that it actually takes away the pleasure of riding the bicycle, something has gone seriously wrong.

For me, in its current state:

Completely unusable.
Extremely customer-unfriendly.
Outdated login process.
Broken verification system.
More than 60 minutes wasted.

⭐ 1 star – and only because zero stars is not an option.

Außer Akkuladestand und Gesamtkilometeranzeige sind keine Daten verfügbar. Die App ist unterentwickelt und eigentlich sinnlos.

Es wäre schön, wenn die app sich die Informationen der letzten Verbindung merkt und anzeigt, auch wenn kein Fahrrad mehr verbunden ist.

App verbindet sich nicht mit dem Bike, wenn es nur im Hintergrund läuft. Trip-Aufzeichnung startet zwar automatisch, aber das Ende muss manuell erfolgen. Wenn ein Trip abgespeichert wird, wird bei mir nur ein Teil gespeichert, obwohl während der Fahrt die Daten richtig erfasst werden. 
Und ganz schlimm: Bei der  Erstverbindung zw. App und Bike gibt es keine Authentifizierung. Registrierte App-Nutzer können sich daher mit jedem Bike mit Bafang-Technik connecten. Viel anstellen kann man zwar nicht, aber dieses Verhalten ist in der heutigen Zeit bedenklich.
Wenn die groben Mängel beseitigt werden, hat diese App aber ein großes Potenzial.

### ****- "Good App, But Needs Better Route Planning"
Bafang Go works well overall, but it’s missing key features for serious riders. I wish it supported GPX file import and allowed manual route planning by selecting paths, not just setting a destination. Integration with Komoot would be a huge upgrade—its massive route database and planning tools would make Bafang Go far more powerful and rider-friendly.

Keine Ahnung, wozu die App eigentlich gut ist. Navis kenne ich wesentlich bessere. Geschwindigkeit sehe ich auch am Fahrrad-Display. Ich kann das Bild meines Profil nicht ändern. Auch die Registrierung war anstrengend. Die Anzeige war unbrauchbar, da nicht gesagt wurde, welche Zeichen unzulässig sind. Außerdem kann ich keine Daten lesen, wenn das Fahrrad nicht verbunden ist. Würde gern die verbrauchten Kilometer insgesamt sehen. Oder allgemein Statistiken. Eben auch ohne aktive Verbindung mit dem Bike. Also wie gesagt, keine Ahnung wozu die App gut sein soll. Während der Fahrt will ich mich nicht ablenken lassen und das Fahrrad anzuschalten, nur damit ich Daten lesen kann, ist mir zu kurz gedacht. Verstehe nicht, warum man die Daten nicht auch so abrufen kann.

App funktioniert in Verbindung mit DPC010 problemlos. Nur die Navigation ist ziemlich unbrauchbar da sie eine Autonavigation ist und somit nur die schnellste Strecke auf Straßen sucht. Keine Alternativrouten oder Einstellungen möglich. Hier sollte man nachbessern.
