Baftr helps you return to the original location, match the framing, track unfinished photo sets, and export clear comparisons. Built for contractors, land managers, trail crews, conservation teams, inspectors, and anyone who needs consistent visual documentation over time. WHAT BAFTR HELPS YOU DO • Capture before photos with location, compass heading, and date information • Return to the original photo location using distance and direction guidance • Overlay the original image while capturing an after photo • Adjust overlay opacity or use an edge overlay for precise alignment • See which photo sets still need an after photo • Add multiple after photos to document changes over time • Sort photo sets by date or distance from your current location • Organize photo sets into folders by project, site, or client • Export polished before-and-after comparison images • Customize export size, quality, spacing, and optional title and date labels • Share complete or partial Baftr photo sets and folders for backup or collaboration • Import shared photo sets from backup or other users • Work fully offline without cell service or WiFi BUILT FOR REPEATABLE FIELD PHOTOGRAPHY GPS can help you return to the general location, but it cannot recreate the original framing—and ordinary photo libraries do not show which locations still need an after photo. Baftr keeps the original photo, location, and heading together. When it is time for the follow-up, Baftr guides you back, displays the original over the camera view, and helps you line up a consistent shot. COMMON USES • Trail maintenance documentation and reporting • Conservation, restoration, and photo-point monitoring • Construction, landscaping, and remodeling documentation • Site inspections and field observations • Volunteer and nonprofit project reporting • Home and property projects tracked over time Your photo library is stored on your device. Export comparison images for presentations and reports, or create complete Baftr packages for backup and sharing. ## Baftr Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/54/0e/02/540e0245-e7a8-0f3d-013f-8e7377639181/overlay.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a0/d3/0f/a0d30f3f-b0c7-ac3a-ffde-e720b9c544da/library.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/94/d7/a9/94d7a925-25a3-62ef-ab44-7f6aa9bff10b/preview.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/26/50/03/265003ae-8141-557f-cf61-8e64141906be/export.png/1242x2688.png) ## Baftr Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 2 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Baftr Reviews in United States ### ***** "The best thing since sliced bread" Never again will I forget to take an after photo. So user friendly. The photo overlay makes it easy to take photos from the exact same spot -- Raymond Luxery Yacht, 2026-02-07 ### ***** "Solid product" This accomplishes everything I need in this sort of app. I use it for field conservation work. Great for showing progress on trail construction. Clean, functional app with enough features to achieve what I need. -- Swaggy Baggs, 2026-01-31 [View all Baftr reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Baftr - [Colorize: Restore Old Photos](https://apptail.io/app/colorize-restore-old-photos-DHv/united-states) - [Exif Metadata Editor & IPTC](https://apptail.io/app/exif-metadata-editor-iptc-nOcb/united-states) - [Pixly The Contractor Photo App](https://apptail.io/app/pixly-the-contractor-photo-app-Ormb/united-states) - [Before and After App](https://apptail.io/app/before-and-after-app-kkic/united-states) - [Streamster](https://apptail.io/app/streamster-Rndd/united-states) - [Apollo - Camera Overlay](https://apptail.io/app/apollo-camera-overlay-MEvm/united-states) - [Obsbot Start](https://apptail.io/app/obsbot-start-PUno/united-states) - [Obsbot Live](https://apptail.io/app/obsbot-live-BSRq/united-states) - [OverCam – Photo Overlay Camera](https://apptail.io/app/overcam-photo-overlay-camera-iyPt/united-states) - [AlignShot: Superponer Fotos](https://apptail.io/app/alignshot-superponer-fotos-LNjx/united-states) ## Baftr Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/baftr-rhaw/united-states) - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/baftr-rhaw/armenia) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/baftr-rhaw/iceland) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/baftr-rhaw/kenya) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/baftr-rhaw/kazakhstan) - [Madagascar](https://apptail.io/app/baftr-rhaw/madagascar) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
