The Estate covers about 20,000 hectares (just over 50,000 acres) acres of heather clad hills, ancient Caledonian woodland, policies and of course the beautiful River Dee is nearby. Unfortunately I can’t even comment on the functionality of the app. Despite logging onto the (sketchy) Balmoral WiFi on arrival, the app was going to take an hour to download so had to give it a miss.
