## Balwin Reviews in South Africa

### *---- "Terrible app especially for access control"
Access control should be seamless for users, this app is not user friendly. It’s a tedious task to generate an access code for a visitor. Worst part, you can only generate access code for people in your contact list. Why is there no option for delivery guys? Why do security guards still have to scan license & take pictures if you have an access code?
-- GestoChatlas, 2026-02-07

### *---- "Appalling"
Easily the worst app I’ve seen, for such a basic use case.

What’s worse is the FaceID system they use, which you enroll through this app, struggles heavily under direct/bright sunlight. So if your skin colour becomes light under direct sunlight, you will not be able to enter to a complex with you’ve paid hard cash for.

It’s ridiculous.
-- 123789123789123, 2025-12-10

### ***-- "App notifications field"
Notifications messages doesn’t open
-- Mogodi’s, 2025-11-22

### *---- "Collecting Unnecessary Data"
You are forced to opt in to your PII data being collecting beyond justifiable purpose or simply have no access to your home, that you own.
-- SibekoSimphiwe, 2025-02-22

### *---- "Bug"
The app has been inaccessible for over two weeks. Can’t even use it or login.
-- Greens-2, 2025-01-30

### *---- "Privacy concern"
On upcoming visits, we see every person’s name and contact details that has been invited into the complex. Due to this, anyone can steal your visitor’s code and revoke the visits you’ve created.

Security guards seem clueless about the issue, which has led to so much frustration and conflict. Frustrating!
-- njandi, 2025-01-10

### *---- "This app"
The app introduced is not friendly to the users,
Orientation is needed otherwise this frustrate the users and Securities are also left ignorant to the app that is supposed, them as security to have knowledge to it.
This is bad very bad
-- 12khydyh, 2024-12-11

### *---- "Mr X"
I can’t seem to download this app on my iPhone 10 all software updated already.I’ve deleted and rebooted but still nothing
-- Gauto1, 2024-12-09

### *---- "The worst"
The worst
-- Quanoville, 2024-12-04

### *---- "Horrible property management"
If you wanna stay like you in hostel or prison then please come join especially the Blyde
-- AsemahleQ, 2024-11-20
