I have been unable to use the app for the better part of the last year. It repeatedly gives me an error every time I attempt to open it. I have to use a web browser to reload now. You cannot see your trips or previous transactions on the browser. You cannot save your information either. It is a pain and highly inconvenient.
So earlier this year, my Lincoln stopped working and I actually bought a separate BancPass for my Honda. So when I would get on the toll road with the Honda, the payments on my Lincoln started reducing. Now I’m finding that they’re indicating that I have a -$37 balance because they are now charging me with travel events that are several months old now actually. Because they did not keep up with their accounting balances at the time or they redirected it from one vehicle to the other, there’s no way for me to confirm that I was actually on the Toll Road or not. At this point, I no longer own the Lincoln and it’s at least showing a positive balance, I still don’t understand why any of the charges got transferred from the Honda at all? So I feel like I’ve been paying double honestly. What is with the delayed accounting? Now the Honda doesn’t work and has been off the road for at least two weeks. So this is October and they’re charging me for events back in August and September which again I can’t account for because there are soooo many charges against my Honda. I’m going to have to map this out and confirm my activity!!! Basically I can’t really even, figure out if their accounting is correct because there are so many charges against my account and it wasn’t in a timely manner!!! Oh yes, and no freaking human to talk to who could actually look at the account and put that stuff in order. What I’m guessing is that there was some kind of delay from the Harris County Toll Rd., Authority and somehow now they’re throwing it to BancPass, but I’m still going to have to figure out if all this accounting is even accurate. I don’t understand the point of bancPass having a phone number if there’s no one there to answer it? Maybe what I need to do is actually contact the Harris County Toll Road Authority and confirm my activity with them because this is just not making sense. The whole point about having a BancPass is so that i can have an accurate accounting in a timely manner, so I don’t have to go to the HCTRA tag store. I can just pay directly from my phone!!!
App is not user friendly, not able to add vehicle info
Customer support from a bunch of foreigners who can’t help you and bank pass hasn’t worked sense June.
Overall, the back end is great and it charged my account correctly. The issue is when I started to have problems and in the app when I was trying to scan my card the camera was oriented in an angle that just did not make sense and no matter what I did it was just a poor user experience. And then when I go to the frequently asked questions the color scheme is just terrible and is very hard to read so overall I dislike that part and I've been having some issues with that. There also isn’t an easy way to edit an existing card. My security code is shuffled regularly and I need to add a new card each time. I’m not sure how the rating is so high and people suggest that this is a good user experience, it’s the worst application I have had in terms of that. The pass itself is great though.
Next button doesn’t work Put credit card number in multiple times before it recognized as Visa card Put in cc number with spaces as shown as example fill and to make it easy to check my entry can only put in spaces after typing next letter still didn’t recognize as visa

Cannot auto reload card. It will not show anything but cancel. Barcode reader doesn’t work either.
