Turns off Face ID verification for no reason. Not a terrible user-friendly experience. I wouldn’t call this app helpful. I wouldn’t call the staff helpful either. All of my issues with this app started about 6 months ago; I’m not sure what happened, but I have become so fed up work this app that I’ve cancelled the account that I’ve had for nearly a decade.

This app frequently malfunctions. As of recently, it won't allow me to use biometrics to log in, even though it was working before. It almost consistently has log in issues, not allowing me to log in the first time, even when the biometrics are working. Upon merely opening the app, an error code would pop up. When I reopened the app, it would then let me use biometrics to open it. However, it now won't open with biometrics whatsoever, so I can only log in using my password. I like our bank, but am frustrated with the inconsistent functionality of the app.

*** Biometrics began working again once I deleted and redownloaded the app. I am leaving a "3-star" rating until the app functions well more often. If that happens, I will gladly change it to a 4 or 5. ***

App is stating I have a rooted or jailbroken phone when I do not. My carrier has investigated the issue, reset my phone, and my iOS system is in tact. Nothing has been changed or altered on my phone. I have had constant issues with the app since the last update. The app is frustrating and I’m about to give up banking with BOC because of it.
