Our app is designed to make your everyday banking easier and faster and perform your queries and transactions securely at a touch of a finger.
 
BENEFITS & FEATURES
• Login using your User ID and the 6-digit Passcode or using biometrics (available on compatible devices as an alternative)
• Check your balances using the convenient “Home” page, where connected accounts are separated per account type (current accounts/saving accounts/cards/loans)
• View a snapshot of your finances and get useful insights such as your net worth and scheduled payments
• View your Account Details for connected accounts i.e Interest Rates, IBAN (with an option to share), Hold Amounts, Uncleared Cheques etc .
• Check your account’s Transaction History with a convenient filter option to minimize the results and trace a specific transaction
• Transfer funds between your accounts or to any Bank of Cyprus customer. For your convenience, you may use your predefined templates
• Carry out fast and easy QuickPay mobile payments to Bank of Cyprus customers, up to €250 per day, using the beneficiary’s mobile number or account/card number. Also available for payments that exceed the €250 daily limit, with the use of a Digipass. (only for individuals)
• Set your favourite Quickpay contacts and have them available for selection with just one tap
• Transfer funds to other local banks or abroad (SEPA & SWIFT) either to new or to account auto-saved beneficiaries
• Connect accounts held with Banking institutions and view information about those accounts (for supported banks only)
• Open eFixed Deposit (in euro and other currencies) and eNotice accounts
• Apply for an eCredit Card
• If you are a business subscriber with predefined multiple signatures (schema), Approve/Decline your Pending Transactions
• Update your contact information (phone numbers, email). Digipass OTP is required
• Get images of cheques you issued or that you deposited
• Pay your utility bills
• Open a standing order via the Transfer option as a repeated payment and a direct debit for your credit card
• View the status of your transactions performed via 1bank channels
• Personalise the app by uploading a picture of your choice or setting up account alias
•  View the “Notices” sent by the Bank from time to time, to keep up with our news and much more.

The Bank of Cyprus Mobile Application is offered free of charge, however 1bank Commission & Charges may apply for your transactions.

Almost everything about this app is bad, but I'd especially like to highlight the terrible authorization process, which is almost completely inconvenient. Instead of tapping an icon and immediately getting a working app after entering your FaceID, you have to open the app and then, for some reason, confirm your authorization several times.

Obviously, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The main problem is that you can't do practically anything in this online bank, compared to any decent bank, like Revolute. But it's something that irritates you every time you open it.

If you’ve ever longed for 2010, back when mobile apps were just learning how to open without crashing - look no further! Bank of Cyprus has managed to bottle up that early-Internet spirit. The interface feels like it was designed on a flip phone, and the functionality brings back the sweet memories of dial-up tones, with every action requiring at least three extra, unnecessary steps.

Pros? Sure: a deep sense of nostalgia and the comforting knowledge that progress won’t sneak up on you here.
Cons? Well… everything else.

The application is user-friendly and provides a smooth and efficient banking experience. Overall, it performs very well and makes everyday transactions convenient. Minor improvements could be made regarding fees for money transfers and the paperwork-related procedures, which can feel somewhat bureaucratic. Nevertheless, I remain highly satisfied with the app.

My experience with Bank of Cyprus has been extremely negative. The bank is not loyal or fair towards Russian clients, applying discriminatory practices that go beyond European regulations. Transfers — even from another EU bank to my own account — are often blocked without clear explanation.

Customer service is also very poor. Managers are frequently rude, unhelpful, and dismissive. From time to time, the bank initiates “reviews” of personal accounts, during which funds can be frozen or effectively taken. On top of that, they push unnecessary extra services and impose hidden fees.

Be aware: this bank is unreliable, unfriendly, and operates in a way that creates serious risks for its customers. I strongly advise avoiding it.
