This used to be my favorite digital reader. Now you can’t see prices of books, can’t make purchases from the app and every time I remove an item from my wishlist it finds it’s way back onto my list (even after being moved numerous times). The frustration is ow more than the satisfaction

I like using the app to read on the go but it freezes a lot when browsing at other titles your interested in buying. Also the app deleted all my wishlist items recently and I had to go find them again and put them back, this included my glowlight 4 wishlist too.

It only syncs the books you bought from Barnes and Noble. The books you added are not synced. So disappointing. Going back to Kindle.

Although I have been able to read one volume books of average size in the Nook app without a problem, I made the mistake of buying a large "complete works" file of a favorite author from B&N. At first, it opened and paged quickly, but as I progressed through the file, it became slower and slower. I am not even one third of the way through the file, and it takes at least five minutes just to open, another five to seven minutes to finally stop loading, and I have to wait for at least another five minutes between swipes before I can turn a page. If, God forbid, the app times out before I get to it, the entire process starts all over again. This large file is virtually unreadable as a result. My purchase has turned into a waste of money and time. This happens on every platform I have tried. Yes, I have re-downloaded the app. I have also reported the problem multiple times with no response whatsoever.

Somehow I ended up with two logins under the same email address or something like that. The BN website keeps looping back to the login screen. This is not worth the effort, switching to the competition.

This app is trash. I have only had this app for 20 minutes and it has crashed three times. The ability to search for titles only works “sometimes” and the ebooks page is constantly freezing. Also, the titles are incorrectly listed as “pre-order”. It’s 03/2024, why do I need to preorder the Iron Flame ebook? This has been released for months. Went to a different title, released in Oct of last year and it is also listed as “preorder”.. I uninstalled and downloaded Kindle.. I now have both titles downloaded and ready to read…do not waste your time

Love the B&N nook app it’s easy to navigate but most time when downloading books from BookBub it either don’t show up or it’s freezes on book and won’t move until I refresh. But otherwise the App is good !
