## Baron Critical Weather Description
The Baron Critical Weather app is a daily weather resource for your smart phone, providing forecasts and current conditions that include radar, temperature, and surface winds on a fast and fluid map. An easy-to-use interface includes a 24-hour and 7-day forecast, so you can see what the weather will be like at times and locations important to you.

Features:
• Current and forecast conditions based on city, zip code or your current location
• Nationwide radar, VIS/IR satellite imagery, temperature and more
• Interactive weather map with pan and zoom
• 3 and 7-day forecasts in both quick view and detailed formats 
• National Weather Service county and storm-based warnings on the map
• Integrated weather alerts with Baron Tornado Index (BTI) rankings

Built-in Weather Alerts
 Baron Critical Weather provides fully automated weather alerts right on your phone, simple to use and more specific than weather sirens, with a lead time of up to 15 minutes before the storm hits. You can set up to four places to be monitored for severe weather, including your smart phone’s current location, so you always know what’s coming.
Choose to receive any or all of these alert types: 

• Special Baron alerts
o Storms Entering Your Area
o Dangerous Storm Approaching
o Twisting Storm Approaching
• National Weather Service storm-based warnings:
o Tornadoes 
o Severe Thunderstorms 
o Flash Floods

Featuring the Baron Tornado Index
The Baron-exclusive alerts are accompanied by a simple 1-to-10 ranking on the likelihood of a tornado within the approaching storm cell. Called the Baron Tornado Index (BTI), this ranking is more local and accurate than regional alerts.

So sad that hourly radar is no longer available, only 24 hour. It has become inaccurate since that change. Can’t see the same weather detail. So sad because this was my favorite weather app! 😢

I used to love this app. It was my go to for checking what my weather was going to be for the day or even the upcoming week. Now it feels as if the developer has just left this app to die. It desperately needs an update as the app only opens properly 1 out of 10 times. I’ve done the uninstall and reinstall trick, and restarting of the phone but the problem still persists. I guess I’ll be looking for a new weather app soon!

I like all the notifications that I get with this app. This is the only app that sends notifications for hail. Where else are you going to find a weather app that notifies you of hail? However there’s something very important that is missing with the notifications. The answer is air quality alerts. This app is called critical weather. Air quality alerts are just as important as other important notifications.

I love the app and use it daily for weather updates!  My only complaint is the lack of ability to remove custom locations after adding.  I found the only way to remove them was just to delete the app and reinstall.

This is a awesome app but it needs a feature that allows users to control the weather map animation speed because after the most recent update the weather map animation speed is so fast that I can’t even see everything that is being animated, for example the lightning strikes are animated so fast they are just a blur and there’s no time to see where each strike occurred so I’m giving this app only 4 stars unless a way to control the weather map animation speed is added.

Temps consistently 8 to 10 F above local even when aggregate average for region is calculated.  Humidity as well.  Also cannot delete map pin that was preloaded with app for Newburgh MI. This is not an app to use when storm chasing either.  Use Radar Pro or PYKL.  UPDATE: 5-01-2020.  Temperature recording grossly inaccurate.  Still cannot dump location map pin for Newburgh MI.  Forecasting is weak and rarely accurate. Barometer reporting does not indicate rise or fall. Deleting this app from my phone.
