Built-in Weather Alerts  Baron Critical Weather provides fully automated weather alerts right on your phone, simple to use and more specific than weather sirens, with a lead time of up to 15 minutes before the storm hits. Used to love this app!

So sad that hourly radar is no longer available, only 24 hour. It has become inaccurate since that change. Can’t see the same weather detail. So sad because this was my favorite weather app! 😢

Needs to be updated

I used to love this app. It was my go to for checking what my weather was going to be for the day or even the upcoming week. Now it feels as if the developer has just left this app to die. It desperately needs an update as the app only opens properly 1 out of 10 times. I’ve done the uninstall and reinstall trick, and restarting of the phone but the problem still persists. I guess I’ll be looking for a new weather app soon!

Important notifications.

I like all the notifications that I get with this app. This is the only app that sends notifications for hail. Where else are you going to find a weather app that notifies you of hail? However there’s something very important that is missing with the notifications. The answer is air quality alerts. This app is called critical weather. Air quality alerts are just as important as other important notifications.

Removing Custom Locations!

I love the app and use it daily for weather updates! My only complaint is the lack of ability to remove custom locations after adding. I found the only way to remove them was just to delete the app and reinstall.

Great app with no ads

It’s a shame this app has ratings from 4 years ago holding down the overall rating. I’ve used the desktop version for years to track storms for an amusement park. This iPad version works just as well.

New Orientation Is a Downgrade

I really hate the new portrait orientation and display. I’m very disappointed.

Forecasts often wrong.

The radar usually works well, but the forecast is wrong more often than not.

Awesome app!

This is a awesome app but it needs a feature that allows users to control the weather map animation speed because after the most recent update the weather map animation speed is so fast that I can’t even see everything that is being animated, for example the lightning strikes are animated so fast they are just a blur and there’s no time to see where each strike occurred so I’m giving this app only 4 stars unless a way to control the weather map animation speed is added.

Inaccurate

Temps consistently 8 to 10 F above local even when aggregate average for region is calculated. Humidity as well. Also cannot delete map pin that was preloaded with app for Newburgh MI. This is not an app to use when storm chasing either. Use Radar Pro or PYKL. UPDATE: 5-01-2020. Temperature recording grossly inaccurate. Still cannot dump location map pin for Newburgh MI. Forecasting is weak and rarely accurate. Barometer reporting does not indicate rise or fall. Deleting this app from my phone.

More rule based alert selection needed

Unable to pick what watches or warnings alerts on the radar. It is either all alerts or no alerts. I need to look at the map quickly and see what is heading our way. The radar itself is clear down to the street level and the lightning notice is helpful. I hope this app adds improvements to allow customizing the visuals on the map.
