Since this update 2 days ago it continues to crash even when uninstalling and reinstalling app.

Click on the link from the email and then wait 10 mins for the page to render in the app. Especially when the threads get longer. Surely something can be done?

I’m not sure why Campfire doesn’t have comment threads like Facebook, so it gets very overwhelming when all the comments just keep piling up underneath one another and you can’t keep track. This seems quite outdated. Also, on the browser version, when you press enter, that posts your comment so you can’t have paragraphs. This makes it even more confusing.

I had an issue and asked basecamp to tell me a specific piece of data relating to my account. It was a paid account, paid in advance. They declined then referred me to their New York based lawyers. Your data is not yours just know this. Like most tech companies they love the benefit of a worldwide user base then hide behind their lawyers. The things you do and don’t do have repurcusions for real people. We’re bot just churn and AOV. All the altruistic BS you pump out there doesn’t make up for what you actually do and how you act. Palm offs to lawyers are a joke. International law and being referred to New York lawyers is plain BS. What you give you get back ten fold.

Unethical founders harassed one of their employees after a group discussion thread took a political turn. Then decided to ban political conversations at work as they were a distraction. Then offered severance packages to all employees who wanted to leave. 23 of their 57 employees have resigned in the first 48 hours.

Really clunky interface. Tap anything and a new tab opens up to rip you out of what you were doing. Lots of stuff defies your expectations of what the app should do and something as simple as creating and assigning a new task takes way too many steps. Mediocre at best.

I’m not sure why but Basecamp opens for five seconds before crashing. iPhone 6s, iOS 12.2. Reset phone. Any tips? When it did work it was awesome!

Our body corp committee has been using Basecamp for 18 months and we love it. members find it easy to use and have found it useful using Discussions. It promotes transparency and as new members come on board they are able to see what has transpired and where we are at re pest control, repairs, plumbing, pool issues etc. it makes communication very easy with no more “I didn’t get or see that email” !
