One of my favorite GAMES EVER MADE!!!!!
The tutorial is kind of ridiculous for multiple reasons but I’ll give just 3. For one it makes me take out my strongest archer unit rather than one that’s level one and I can’t change it. Reason 2, after the 3rd battle I had a pretty good idea of everything and yet it’s still dragging on and it’s making kind of upset I can’t play the game I downloaded and there’s no option to exit tutorial. Reason 3 I feel like there’s no reason to give such tight restrictions in a tutorial as in I can’t add more units to fill to 8 before I got the rare unit and it boggles my brain that isn’t allowed when I have plenty enough gold. Now I’ll give it maybe 2-3 more battles and if it continues I’m just going to quit, I’m really being walked through it like a child and I can’t skip any of it, it’s really frustrating actually.
They gave me 50 gems cause they fw me thats W’s in chat ngl
I’ve spent money attempting to further progress, enjoy the game, and try to show support towards a free to play game but I heavily regret it. This game has characters and methods of playing which are completely broken and make your army seem pointless. No matter how you build your army, the enemy you get will counter it 5 times out of 10. On top of this, any alteration or improvement does not help when your attempting to combat an enemy that you don’t know and when you change your layout, the opponent will be someone new and stronger who will counter your new layout. The game was rigged from the start… this game may be enjoyable when your overpowering the opponent and right at the start but don’t spend money… you must be willing to grind and lose before you make any real progress or have any enjoyment. Recommend that you play something else or just don’t play this
The wall unit is a great idea but I think it is underwhelmingly bad due to friendly units running in to it and not beable to run around it. The wall unit basically acts as a magnet to friendlys making it a easy loose game when using it. The second part is when the opponent is using it instead of walking to the side of the wall where the enemy units are units want to go through the wall then walk to the side causing it to be an easily loose game. Unit mechanics are good, but at the same time the wall unit makes them react weirdly on the field. Will it be fixed or is it intended.
Genuine trash
Loving the game so far…my son got me hooked on it and even got me an apple gift card to buy a gift pack since I like it so much!
Valid
This game is absolutely amazing, I’d love to write a longer review but I need to get back to my game lol, just download it I don’t have to explain
Expensive, expensive game - most packages you can purchase start at $60 and average around $70. I splurged and purchased a bunch of gems, and what they offer for those gems hasn’t changed in months… the same upgrades over and over. I’ve been trying to spend gems for weeks but they just have the same offers I wasn’t interested in a mo th ago. All that for a game that is pretty much random, it literally is like pulling a slot machine and hoping you’ll be lucky this time - you even perform the same motion as slot machine games to start a match. In one session I can go from 25% win rate to 80% wins, and back down again… without making any changes to strategy at all! Here’s my previous review (which still holds)———- The biggest issue with this game is that match opponents are completely random when it comes to the level of your units you are actually fighting with. Yes, it matches you with people with a similar *overall experience level*, but every unit on the field has its own level. Whether you win or lose is mostly determined by the average level of units on your field vs. your opponent’s field (you can see your opponent’s average level before the match starts). That is the biggest factor in determining a win, and there is no rhyme or reason for that matching. That means your only strategy is to highly level up one unit, and always use it. Or you lose. That becomes boring quickly - and expensive. And that’s not to mention how pricey everything is -most purchases are $50 or more, many are $84 to upgrade a unit a bit. Edit: for fans of American football or those that have played football video games, this is exactly like calling plays… except that *any* team in *any* formation may appear in front of you when the play starts. There is no guiding information, hint, or filtering at all that allows you to put any strategy together. So the best you can do is disproportionately level up a key player or two.
