처음 열면 어리둥절하나 금방 손쉽게 적응하고 친절하고 편해 이용에 무리가 없습니다 많은 분들이 이 좋은걸 널리 알게 되고 이용했으면 좋겠습니다

통역어플하면 보통 AI기술을 떠올리기 마련인데 BBB애플리케이션은 차원이 다른 통역어플인것 같습니다. 다름아닌 자원봉사자분들이 장소와 상황까지 가늠하신 상태에서 바로 통역을 해주시니 AI통역에서 발생하는 오류는 걱정할 필요가 없다는 것입니다. 정확하고 빠르게 상황에 맞는 통역이 너무나 신기하고, 유료도 아니고 자원봉사자분들의 기능재부로 이루어지는만큼 사용하면서도 더 감사한마음 드는게 정말 인간적인 것 같습니다. 그리고 단시간에 가장 많은 상황발생과 외국인을 접할수 있는 인천공항에서는 특별히 따로 대응해서 통역을 해주신다니 정말 유용합니다. 영어,일어 등 몇몇 언어가 아닌 20언어를,, 그것도 24시간 이용할수 있다는게 정말이지 신기합니다. 이렇게 운용될수 있도록 재능기부로 봉사해주시는 자원봉사자분들께 정말 감사한 마음이 들수 밖에 없는 앱입니다. 간편하고 정확하고 빠른 통역엔 BBB 앱을 따라올 통역앱은 없는것 같아요. 정말 강추합니다.

통역이 필요할때 편하게 쓸수 있어서 좋네요. 여행이나 업무상 의사소통이 필요할때 유용하게 사용 가능합니다.

통역앱이라니 신기하고 나중에 해외여행가게 되면 쓰기 유용할꺼 같습니다 ㅠㅠ 쵝오최고!!!

다른어플도 써봤지만 편하다고 느끼진 않았는데 bbb는 통역봉사자님들이 참여하시는 어플이라서 실생활에 굉장히 유용할거 같아요:)

업무상 외국인을 만날 일이 많은데요. 유용하게 쓰일 것 같네요.

역시 사람이 번역 하는게 아직까지는 좋은거 같아요. 번역기에 넣으면 문장이 자연스럽게 안나오는데 bbb 사용하면 자원봉사자님들의 번역을 24시간 받아볼 수 있어서 너무 좋아요.

bbb korea 외국 친구들에게 정말 많이 얘기해주고 있어요 무료인데 봉사자들이 봉사로 외국 친구들에게 많은 도움이 되는것 같아서 최고입니다!

영어 일어 중국어 뿐만아니고 다양한 언어가 많아서 실제로 우리나라에서 도움이 필요한 외국인에게 좋을것같아요!!!!!! 기계번역이 아니고 봉사자가 도와주는게 더 믿음이 가고 좋은것 같아요!!!!

These reviews are all written in Korean, which is super weird for a service that is supposed to help non Korean speakers. First, the app design is legitimately bad. You have to save the number you are going to call in your contacts list. There is no way to just call a number. Second, it doesn’t display all the numbers in your contacts for some random reason I cannot figure out. Next, a lot of these interpreters behave in a totally inappropriate way. First, I called to ask someone to help me make a doctors appointment and the translator told me I shouldn’t just use Korean and call a big hospital. No, I am not kidding. My translator told me to just use Korean!!! What?? He then lectured me about how doctors at hospitals today speak English. That is just not true a lot of the time. And furthermore, even if the doctor CAN speak english, the front staff can’t. I can’t always make an appointment over the phone on my own. Sometimes there is a phone tree to get through. Sometimes the person in the phone just will hang up on you because they don’t speak English. Why is a volunteer translator telling me to “just use Korean”? This is wild. So I called again trying to get a second person, and the person who answered the phone was on the Subway and so couldn’t hear me! ???? I was shocked and tried to understand how the BBB service worked. I have volunteered on hotlines before and when we work hotlines in America, we sign up for a specific shift (like, you know, 2-4 or whatever) and then we are available in that time. I was trying to understand how the BBB worked and the key just kept insisting he has a job and so he has things to do. Okay???? so….like….don’t volunteer during work hours. Don’t answer the phone when you are on the subway. Similarly, a lot of the translators seriously just don’t speak very good English and often refuse to help with basic things. My friends have tried to use the BBB before to make appointments, buy phones, and go to the tax office and the BBB agent refuses to help because they don’t speak that “good English”. Okay. So why are you volunteering? Like I appreciate people volunteering their time but..if you don’t speak English don’t volunteer on and English hotline. If you are busy at work, don’t volunteer on an English hotline. If you are on the subway don’t answer???? Like I have no idea what is going on with this service. 1 star. Seriously. They need to monitor the behavior of their translators better.
