Since changing to a new phone I can’t see the sunset time in the top left of the screen - it’s cut off and I’m not able to zoom out so that it fits on my screen. I’d love to sort this out as this is my go-to weather app.
Day strip at bottom of screen missing most data for individual days. Individual day above day strip mostly obscured by header. Update: absolutely no consistency between the temperatures indicated in the row of days at the bottom and the individual detailed day. For instance Sun 5 Jan at bottom, max 3° min 0° Sun 5 Jan detailed Max 11° Min 5° Close and reopen app and the above figures change each time. The algorithm appears to be a random number generator. Unreadable, unreliable and useless
Miles better than the apple one and more reliable
really goosy
We need it to be a bit more accurate. Might be if not outsourced elsewhere!
BBC Weather has been my ‘go to’ forecast service forever, it’s clear & simple to use, but not as accurate or detailed as others. More precise details/predictions for precipitation would be helpful, and sunset times fall off the edge of the screen (presumably due to dynamic text size bugs in IOS?) with no in-app settings adjustability.
Rarely right, mostly wrong. Not sure how the BBC - who have high standards- manage to get the weather SO wrong so much of the time. It’s also very damaging to us event organisers when the BBC weather app says it going to rain - people stay away. We lost a fortune this summer - a community fund raising concert - for that reason - we had only half the expected audience due to the app saying heavy rain - but it never rained or even looked like it would. We lost money. Someone suggested we sue the BBC for loss of earnings. I now use an American weather app - we list in all publicity material now - that’s 90% right. If they can get it right why can’t the BBC?
Seeing what to expect for weather/rain is extremely helpful
Great app however a recent update removed the date from the days. Please bring it back or at least provide an option to turn on/off in the app.
