I’ve used BBC wether app for years, I now find it is not as accurate as the Met Office app.

The BBC Weather App is, in my experience, almost always inaccurate compared to the Met Office App and the Apple Weather App.

Worst ever app. Seriously hopeless at weather prediction. Wrong almost every second of the day. I could do better than this app by just randomly guessing the weather myself. I’m actually furious with the BBC for getting it so wrong so often and not allowing people any degree of accuracy whatsoever. Making money under false pretentions. CHARLATANS!

I downloaded this app as it had the best reviews but I can only assume that this is because it looks nice. Which it does. Unfortunately, just like any other weather app, it cannot be used to predict the weather. Basically, if it predicts rain, then it will be dry. If it threatens thunderstorms, it will be glorious sunshine. I guess it’s not the apps fault. The info comes from the met office, I assume? Anyway, I no longer use it and just look out the window and guess what the weather will be like. The tried and tested way.

This app was the best weather app on the UK market. . . Until it wanted me to sign in with my BBC account to check the weather. There is no reason for the BBC to require a login to use this app. It’s not a TV so there no licensing issue. It’s just a data grab to tie gps data to user accounts. No thanks. I’ll just use another app.

It’s never correct! I honestly can’t understand how in this day, when tech is so good, that this app can be so wrong🙈

I aways check the BBC Weather the evening before as to what the day has to offer before I think of what I will wear out walking the dog so as not to be caught out

Very good. Not always accurate, but for the most, it is on target with its forecasts.

** UPDATE: it’s still not working. The so called thorough update issued a month ago hasn’t fixed the problem. So have deleted and am using Met Office app instead. ****** I can no longer scroll to view upcoming days. I can see the next two days’ tabs at the bottom but they don’t open and won’t scroll across to view days further ahead. Have deleted and reinstalled but same issue.
