Maybe it's time to let go of this app

The app is getting worse and worse, both usability and look, but now annoying registration reminders. The amount of annoying irrelevant ads doesn't allow for reading much. BBC also has become more and more biased. Maybe it's time to move on and leave it behind.

the update has made it worse

Before on the BBC app, I could favourite topics of my interest and search for articles. Now, I can’t do any of that. I can only read the current news. This means that if I find an interesting article now, I cannot save it for later or search for it later. I have to read it immediately or I will lose it. The only reason I use this app is because it is the most convenient for breaking news, but the quality of the app has sharply declined after their most recent update. The app was not even the best to begin with. Hoping there will be improvements soon.

The app works but is not great

The app is very clunky and unintuitive to use. Now with the most recent update they seem to have removed the search function. The most basic of features

Huge step backwards

The latest major version makes News reading so much harder. Gone are major topics like Business and Technology, instead we got Wales and Cricket. No offense,but no thanks

Awful update

Latest layout update is awful. Now you are forced to read what they think you should. old version was way better, shame… Have deleted and installed ITV news

No customized news

This is so far worst update. I am forces to see news that has no relevance or of interest to me. Doesnot seems to be possible to search news based on topics as well. Just forces to see what news organisation thinks we should be seeing.

New App is Dissappointing

The new news app does not meet any of my expectations. I only see news that has no interest to me. The old version at least had the option to choose regions of interest. There is no point in using this new version

Terrible terrible update

Ability to customise news topics has disappeared, now I’m first presented with news that has no relevance to me.

Worst update so far

The lack of customisation, to just see UK news and local news, that missing feature just killed this app dead for me. Moving from the old UK version of the app to word version with ads was hard enough. But this is so disappointing.

Web tech regression

Terrible web tech articles in the recent update. Used to be an excellent native news app.
