The new version is buggy and force closes the app when clicking on certain news items. I don’t like the forced signup window. In the old version I could customize the order of news categories which is not available on the new version. I miss that

The BBC is heavily biased against Europeans and their culture. Its reports are skewed and incomplete. It takes the silly concept of political correctness to an absurdly ridiculous level by not reporting the truth, the WHOLE TRUTH and nothing but the truth. British version of CNN.

The BBC news is most of the times an honest and reliable news portal. But on some issues it’s not, and it’s good for the readers to know it. I refer especially to the bias it shows when it comes to religion especially bias against Catholics. Also I am from Malta and  the news reported about my country are very often one sided politically, apart from the fact that very often who reported about the EU seems not to know that Malta is a full EU member.

It took me a while to get used to the new version. I felt the new version was a mess, confusing and quite much a mistake. 
I still miss the old version occasionally, however now I am accustomed to this current version and well versed in using this. I dislike the junks ad block which don't really advertise anything at least not in my region where I view it. 
Other than this I am quite comfortable with the new version

On the iPhone, this new BBC app is everything a news app should not be. It's slow and seems to be stuck updating continuously. Scrolling the news category strips is jerky and frustrating. It's hard to read the titles of each news story. The tiny image thumbnails are almost meaningless.

It's so bad that if I could give it less than one star, I would. The only redeeming feature this app has is that it looks good, but that comes at the expense of everything else.
