Downgrade
The old app used to be easy to navigate and personalize. The new app is a step backwards. Brings to mind the adage, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.
Not a fan of new look
Has lost the ability to follow specific topics on latest update. Headline news still good but have to spend to much time looking for the topics I am interested in following. Switched to using alternative news app now but still have a quick look at BBC. App has gone backwards rather than advancing with new features and filters.
2023 update is a disaster
Redesign is OK but My News has been removed so I have no way to get to the news that actually interests me.
My News Removed
Hate the new format. You do not know what news I want curated and the removal of the My News tab (retained in BBC Sport) is a huge mistake. Bring it back! I'm now having to scroll through things I have zero interest in to see the stories I want. Hugely frustrating. If zero stars was an option I'd give it. Previously it would have been five.

Still an important news outlet
I find the news relevant and well written and so far have not seen biases. It has fearless views too which commendable. It’s not arrogant in a way that it is overbearing. Can BBC improve further? It can as long as it doesn’t delve too much on British politics.
Factfulness
While it’s great of BBC to have been credible channel for news across globe. Please be factually and avoid unconscious biased reporting. Often facts are stranger than fiction and Covid19 is glaring event. God Bless Humanity stay safe stay healthy to all in BBC team👍🏼

Because American reporting can be a bit close to the issue I would like to see the excellent BBC reporters give there perspective.
