Before changes my apple’s build-in translator was helping me to understand the textes and improve my English, unknown word that did not be a problem due to tap and translate possibility, right now I can not use it more becouse the app does not work in that way. Do something with it, please.
You can no longer select text or perform look up on words. The new layout is confusing leading me to spend less time in the app. I miss the old categories cleanly split into sections.
After the latest update, swipe-back does not work as in the earlier version, and it is not possible to select the text of an article in order to click "translate".
Instead of all the new features in the latest News app it would be far better if you just fixed the long term frustrating issue of no video playback in landscape. Plus trying to link to a story from a Google search results in an error message saying I’m not connected to a network. I am. Very disappointing.
The current layout is so bad, that it has cured me from constantly checking the news. Thank you, BBC.
In previous layout, I could choose list of favourite topics and follow them. Now it is just list of topics, which I can’t search through and have to scroll down to find. Absolutely awful choice of layout
This app has been plagued by never-resolved issued for years. Now, new, irritating ones add up, like not being able to view videos in landscape orientation and the app showing stale content when launched again after 12-24 hours. No offline mode whatsoever. It's pure fail by one of the largest broadcasters in the world.
Aaargh. Loved the app for allowing me to choose topics of my interests shown in a separate tab. Now it's gone and I can't only browse "top stories".
The language of the reported stories is so fake and screams scam. Stay away from Main Stream Media Boys and Girls. Go Woke. Go Broke
