I have removed the app from my devices due to the lack of impartiality regarding many political subjects. What used to be a reliable source of information is now nearly apologetic to antidemocratic terrorist movements like Hamas / Hezbollah supported by Iran.

This is just literally the BBC website inside of a web browser, hosted within the an app instead of using Safari. 

The latest update took away all of the features and now I’m plagued with cookie notices which don’t actually work properly… you cannot even slide to go back to the previous page… instead, press a “back” button at the top left of the page (yes page because it’s simply a hyperlink). 

A terrible quality app and experience for one of the world’s most recognisable companies. 

The developer should be ashamed of this “app”.

The app is missing a “read later” or “add to favorites” button for the news. If I see something that catches my attention I am unable to pin that or add it to read later list. This is pretty annoying because I might want to come over that article later during the day.
I suggest adding a button near the share button on the navigation bar or a swipe right gesture directly on the news cell.

BBC decided in 2020 to go for full screen ads in its app. I understand the need for advertising but you cannot do full screen ads because they are the most annoying and they disappeared already prin the desktop sites.

I opted to receive notifications. For several weeks I received notifications with different kind of "news" almost all of them were irelevant. News with gays and "he said this" and "he responded that". The thing is that I chose some categories and even so I received gay news and what Kim Jon is saying.
