It also covers services received while on a U.S. military base or on a cruise ship. If you received medical services in any other place, you should submit your claim to your local Blue Cross Blue Shield plan. Important Features: International Provider Finder: Search for a doctor or hospital outside of the U.S. and request a guarantee of benefit (GOB). Claims: Securely submit your medical claims and receipts through the mobile app. Follow a step-by-step wizard for paperless form submission or upload a completed paper form. First it doesn’t tell you you need to register and create a new separate user name and password. I tried logging in many times and thought I was losing my mind until I figured that out. Then, no matter if you go by the exact password requirements it keeps telling you it’s not enough. This app is useless. -- Trrev82, 2025-07-15 ### *---- "Impossible to use and customer service is very unhelpful" Despite calling several times to get help with even just logging in, the app has been very difficult to access. -- Jarahn, 2025-05-15 ### *---- "Can’t create password" The password creation page says you need have at least 10 characters, a capital letter, a lowercase letter, number and a special character. I’ve tried creating over a dozen passwords. I’ve incorporated all these rules. Each time I get an error that just repeats these rules, so I have no idea which hidden mystery rule I’m missing. So I can’t send in my claim at all. This is a horribly designed app. BCBS has enough money to create a minimally functional app. Let’s try a bit harder -- randomguy7777, 2024-10-19 ### *---- "This is a miserable way to submit claims" I cannot understand why BCBS makes this so difficult for users overseas. This is so much easier through the web portal, however that is broken so I’m stuck trying to navigate this. For others, even if you already have access to web portal you need to sign up for this service separately. It does not work for pharmacy claims. And then it has you download a claim form, fill it out, and take a picture of it. They had just improved this online by having you fill in information into a form and no longer necessitating scanning and uploading.
