Beam also are in breach of Australian state and commonwealth legislation and case law for charging for a service not given. Rounding up minutes for metres not travelled.  Daily requests to speak with a manager go ignored, in writing and by text.

We left our hotel on a scooter to get lunch at a cafe. But we can’t park there so we had to park around the block otherwise we are charged $18. We got back onto the scooter to get some ice cream and we had the same issue. We had to park down the street. It defeats the purpose of having a scooter if you can’t get on and off at a cafe/restaurant. We weren’t in a no parking zone like what is explained on the app either.
