Bean Tracker is a coffee roasting app that allows you to oversee all your coffee roasting. Manage green beans and roasts, rate your roasts to discover which beans are working best for you.

Whether you're a meticulous coffee roaster looking to record every detail of your coffee roasting or a casual roaster looking to record merely your dates, beans and roast numbers. Bean Tracker enables you to record as much or as little information as you please.

Bean Tracker records the following Fields:

Green Bean:
Country, Name, Supplier, Current Stock, Price, Description, Comment.

Roast:
Overall Roast Number, Green Bean, Bean roast No, Weight of green beans, Weight of roasted beans, Heat Profile, First Crack Start,  First Crack End, Second Crack Start, Second Crack End, Total Time, Comment.


Features:

Simple in App timer for your roasts.

Simple calculations done for you. Roast any amount of beans and it will be automatically deducted from your green bean Inventory.

It was working so well, and recently it started to crash whenever I click “bean stats” or “all beans”

This is a nice free app. Thankful for it being free. But I would gladly pay for it if it had the following options:
1. Correcting the bean type after adding a roast. 
2. Being able to review a review to a finalized roast
3. Being able to duplicate a roast and edit then add.

Easy to use, some minor bugs, but captures most of the information I want.
Bugs: when editing a roast entry the Review box does not show up for edits.
When returning from a roast edit screen to the list of roasts the rating entries don’t show until you back out of the list and go back into the list.

Suggestion: add a field for  roast level result (city, city+, full city, etc.).

For home roasting, it’s def a good app. I has all the necessary functions I need at this point. I’m using an electric non stick pot at home to roast coffee beans and using the app has been helpful. I’m still learning how to use it and how I can use it to my needs but I like it. There’s always room for improvement so 4 stars it is

### ***-- "Unique and somewhat useful. A little fiddly, but very annoying ads."
I haven’t really found any other application out there that is quite like this one. It’s a bit fiddly in that post roasting ratings. Don’t always appear.

Also, recently, ads have started appearing at the top of the screen, which are extremely annoying.

Please tell me how much you want for this and I am happy to pay to eliminate the ads.

I reviewed this app a few months back and gave it 1 star because I read about a roasting timer but didn’t find it at first.  I was using it to keep track of my roasts and bean quantities and entering all my events ( charge, TP, DE, FC, FCE, SC, SCE, and drop) by hand.  I finally hit the timer title and the timer opened.  If the App description had noted that… so,  now I use it during my roast and it helps me keep time tracking to the second.  Better than any regular timer.  I describe the whole profile of each roast down to Roater used, Heat level, fan level changes, events and as much data as I can to be able to come back at repeat the roasts. All in all I’m happy with the app.  It would be great if it could use the timer times to determine development % but I have fun calculating that too.

Found this app very useful and easy to use.  The time selection took a bit getting used but once figured out was easy.  For different batches of coffees from same producer-estate I simply add a letter or number.  Would be nice if there was a sorting function, and sometimes mistakes on weight entry are not corrected on the inventory weight when corrected in the roast tab. Wouldn’t mind a for fee version to get rid of adds.  I have found timer functions on other apps are inconvenient and don’t care for it in the app.
