I was very happy with this app, it is very well organised and I can even edit PDFs in here. But I once did an update and two of the PDFs I had there disappeared completely, there’s just a blank square space and all the information I had in them are gone. I would like to get them back because they’re important but I don’t know how. I tried but nothing worked.

I was bit nervous during migrating from Apple Notes to Bear. Bit scared if it is the right step to migrate my second brain. I was choosing between few apps and Bear won. And you know what? It worth! Bear is super strong app, easy to use and it took me literally few minutes to lear how to use. I appreciate Apole Watch app. It helps me catch the ideas during the day. Good job boys & thank you!

Just downloaded it: first impression is the UI has very bad contrast, light grey on white,have found no way to change it and the same with font size. Users with glasses will not be comfortable. It ignores iPhone settings. Will delete it because using it strains my eyes.

I can dynamically create a structure while creating notes.  No more running around wondering where and how to make folders and sub-folders.  Please keep the approach smooth and simple. I’ve been writing a review on Bear 4 years ago and now came back to it. I can see an improvement with the price for subscription that is now much more relevant.

The design is great. I love it! I love markdown and how the app is easy and user friendly. You have got one more star from me.

What I’m missing is creating a structure. Sure, I can make sub hashtags and create a category and subcategories by that for some tasks but I’d like to see let’s say containers - similar to areas in Things 3. Furthermore, I’d love to see ability to order hashtags manually, not only alphabetically. Or by notes count (how is that useful anyway?). Let us order manually or even better, give us an option to set note order within each hashtag, or sub-hashtags separately. Some manually, some alphabetically.

The app is great I use it almost every day. I only see to have one problem. I activated the PRO mode a few months ago to sync my phone with my tablet but since I don’t need it anymore and I don’t know how to cancel the subscription.

Of many subscription based app this one is not anly cheapest but also best in my opinion (I use it for blogging). The nice design with folders created by tags is perfect on Mac as well as on the ipad. The only thing I am missing is searching within current page (like command + F?). Otherwise it would be perfect.
