Amazing work to the authors truly an a grade application
I bought pro and it won’t even sync my notes once I got a new phone, I even backed up the sync I want a refund
I love Bear. I recommend it to my friends and coworkers, and I love using it. It has been the app that I most feel at home in for taking quick typed notes. Thank you!
A really good app, especially when it was first released but for some reason the dev team behind have been mostly AWOL for a while.
Beautiful, functional, and reliable. The only improvement I can think of is being able to change the colour of text or highlighting within notes.
No search within your notes, no way to automate back links, and a stark lack of new features for a while now means it lost its edge compared to more modern offers, its a shame really.
This app has everything I need to take great notes. The depth is amazing and I have only scratched the surface.
Oh man this is a fantastic app. I use this (via Bear pro) for all of my notes, drafts, lists, todos... it’s extremely versatile but not cluttered and complex. But... the lack of table support does become frustrating fast, and there’s no option to hide the markdown syntax. This is first and foremost a markdown editor, but considering how many users have asked for this feature (on the Bear subreddit) it’s become a frustrating annoyance. (E.g., it would be much nicer to just read rich text when proofing blog posts) If you’re comfortable making iOS shortcuts, you can quickly develop some impressibe workflows with the shortcut integration in Bear. That, along with integration of a x-callback-url scheme makes Bear a damn powerful notes app. Also, keep in mind that the Bear dev team is small (but still extremely helpful!), so bugs may take longer than usual to get fixed. With the upcoming web editor and table support I’d probably give Bear a 5/5, but for now it’s a 4. :)
This has really sold me, I use it mostly for not taking and I will have it in in splitscreen with my powerpoints and take notes with ease, I love it
Finally the Bear gives a good hug for all who love note taking. The new version is a great release and the app fulfills its promises. The synch works brilliantly and the Apple Watch works nicely with Bear, too. I can recommend this beautiful app for all.
