Oh man this is a fantastic app. I use this (via Bear pro) for all of my notes, drafts, lists, todos... it’s extremely versatile but not cluttered and complex.

But... the lack of table support does become frustrating fast, and there’s no option to hide the markdown syntax. This is first and foremost a markdown editor, but considering how many users have asked for this feature (on the Bear subreddit) it’s become a frustrating annoyance. (E.g., it would be much nicer to just read rich text when proofing blog posts)

If you’re comfortable making iOS shortcuts, you can quickly develop some impressibe workflows with the shortcut integration in Bear. That, along with integration of a x-callback-url scheme makes Bear a damn powerful notes app. 

Also, keep in mind that the Bear dev team is small (but still extremely helpful!), so bugs may take longer than usual to get fixed. 

With the upcoming web editor and table support I’d probably give Bear a 5/5, but for now it’s a 4. :)

Which is where I prefer a notebook and sub-notebook system. Also I would love to be able to add reminders to my notes.
