Beat Station - Drum Machine

Drum Loops & Metronome

Published by: Sonar Multimedia Co

Description

The Beat Station is a rhythm machine for practicing guitar, bass, keyboard, or any type of instrument, and also brings to production and live performance the ease of not requiring live drums and a drummer. You can control verse, chorus, transition, fill, intro, and outro sections using different modes of operation. Connect Bluetooth MIDI Pedalboard lets you control all sections hands-free. When you hear the rhythm patterns and start to control them live, it is truly like a versatile drummer playing along with you.
LOOP MODE
Easily play rhythm patterns with loop pads. Each rhythm style includes 12 rhythm patterns: intro, verse, chorus, six fills, two transitions, and outro. You can switch rhythm patterns in real-time as needed during your performance.
PEDAL MODE
You can use the Pedal mode to play rhythm patterns with four footswitches. By using a Bluetooth MIDI pedalboard, you can perform operational tasks without having to take your hands off of your instrument.
SONG MODE
You can connect rhythm patterns to create a complete drum track that's appropriate for your own song, and play it automatically.

I made the purchase but it’s stuck at demo and will not upgrade to pro after purchase. Useless…

Works OK

DoobyDolby on

There is no way to contact the developer. Needs more beat variety. Really needs a built in mixer or at least a way to normalize the beats. Some are much louder than others. Also appears that one time purchase option is gone.

Logic Pro for iPad

Why is there no option to simply export the midi from the song arrangement area? Only audio. That would be huge if you could arrange a drum song then export as a midi file to use with a drum kit of your choice. Supposedly you can somehow use this to send the audio to Logic Pro to record it. But it’s not very intuitive. I can’t figure it out.

Plain an simple

Subscription model only

TheCalcoholic on

Blues and jazz and a fee other less popular genres are free, but you have to sign up for a subscription for more common genres. I understand that the tech development is expensive and the app makers are not running a charity, but offering subscription only is lame. I’d be willing or pay a one-time flat amount of maybe $30-40, maybe more, for this, but will not sign up for them dipping into my bank account every month. I don’t see why they can’t at least offer the option of flat payment or* monthly.
