Becca has been developed by Breast Cancer Now. We are the largest UK-wide charity providing world-class research and life-changing support for anyone affected by breast cancer. Our aim is that by 2050 everyone who develops breast cancer will live, and receive the support they need to live well now.
We collate information and support from a variety of sources, including specialists, online publications and the breast cancer community to help you live with and beyond primary breast cancer.
From medication side effects to stories from surgery, from tips on relationships to dealing with menopausal symptoms, the blogs we share tackle the toughest topics about primary breast cancer.
To provide you with trustworthy information, we also suggest podcasts, recipes, makeup tutorials, exercise regimes and articles from qualified dietitians, nurses and medical professionals.

The information in the app is just what I need.
I use the app to search for answers & inspiration & sometimes just to have a nosey at what other people are saying or doing.
I have one problem with how the app works when I’m looking through a list of articles & go into an article to read it, when I click back it takes me to the heading, but when I click the arrow to go to the next article, it takes me back to article no.2 which is very annoying when your on something like article no.20 and have to click back to there. Hope that makes sense
Can’t login?
Is it just me? II simply cannot login to this app? Have reset my password umpteen times but nothing works. Such a shame as have just today been told I need a mastectomy and was looking for information and support :(
Helping hands
A lot of informative articles from people who have been through this awful disease which helps others in similar situations to get their heads round things, to expert advice which again helps to alleviate concerns not take them away but helps in a way to learn to live with it without giving false hope but learning to be positive to forge ahead at our on individual pace, we are all different and reading other peoples experiences helps with this as there is always light at the end of every tunnel, thanks BECCA and all the lovely volunteers who help out.
Lots of support
Was diagnosed with grade 2 breast cancer on 29th January. Just waiting on dare for op. Couldn’t believe what I’m thinking, lots of other women on BECCA have felt the same. I found it very reassuring. When my treatment starts, I know this will become my best friend!
Like a Best Friend
BECCA app is truly like having a friend holding your hand through the labyrinth of a cancer diagnosis, treatment and beyond. It manages to be inspiring, informative and appealing. Whatever the particular experience I’m having, there is something that helps.

Really useful App. I found it such a help as I was really struggling with my emotions but couldn’t put them into words to explain. I related to others experiences so much that I just showed them to my husband and said “this is how I feel too” both had a good cry and he now understands better.

Good but needs a little more
I love this app! But..... as recently diagnosed I would like more info about the earlier stages of my treatments. There are a lot of insightful post treatment articles. Also more info about working and financial help would be useful. My app always crashes out of the mindfulness section. I am using an iPhone 8+

What a wonderful app! Having been diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2018, this app has become my daily companion. Interesting articles signposting you to other helpful sites. Wouldn't be without it!
Caring Friend
It is like having a knowledgeable friend by your side, with practical advice as well as fun tips and is a support after medical attention has passed.
Good app but...
This is a great app for aftercare and while I’m not at that stage yet ( recently diagnosed) I have found it informative for the future. What I would like to see is an app for just after diagnosis and how to source help regarding work, finances and what to expect in the future as i have found this rather lacking
