What an absolute waste of time app.. Do not download this rubbish!
Description
Keep track of countries and US states that you have visited, and if you wish, also when you visited. The app visualizes the visited countries both as a list, along with a ratio for each continent, and as a world map. The map can be shared on social networks, such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, using the standard iOS sharing functionality. You can compare your map with friends that also have the app, by sharing your map with them.
- If you miss the old look of the app, you can enable Classic Mode to get the old experience back. We hope you will like the new experience though, as we will continue to improve it.
PREMIUM MODE
There is a Premium Mode in the app that you can unlock, if you wish, by a single ONE-TIME In-App Purchase. It unlocks all features in the app.

- In addition to states and regions in the US, with Premium, you can select regions in 25+ countries.
- Select cities and airports.
- More 3D globe filters.
- More visualizers, such as a chronologic map.
- Add local profiles, to allow for multiple maps and country selections.

Shows misleading/wrong info
How can you split Cyprus in 2, even with your tags it’s still misleading and offensive for those who fought for freedom, Cyprus is 1 country, would you also put half the Ukraine or even just Crimea as part of Russia?
Add cloud sync for premium users
It’s ridiculous that I have to input all countries from my own memory from scratch when I buy a new phone.

Suggestion: Add visualisation of cities
Countries need up dating
The app is great but I would argue that when putting down countries like England, wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland they all count as one country e.g. the UK, this should all count separately, this can offend certain people, yes we are all United under the same royal family but people feel each country has its own identity
Good, simple app with some shortfalls
This is a good app for simple countries count and %s. It has regions and cities too, but there are two issues I noticed: cities are not totalled up and sometimes can’t find a city (e.g. Łódź in Poland). App owners, please could you fix it? It would then be 5/5 app!
So close to great
I am a keen traveller and as a happy user of been paid for the upgrade. Unfortunately their are a couple of very annoying bugs in the app and the Developers did not respond to multiple emails where I highlighted the issues. May still work for casual travellers, but then they probably won’t be bothered with an app like Been anyway.
One of the best travel apps out there
Clean design, well updated databse on cities and countries, along with feature packed UI. This app is everything i could ask for. Also the devs have my maximum respect of keeping the pro under a one-time payment,, instead of a subscription model.
Mediocre
It’s a brilliant app for simply tracking countries been to but much more than that it lacks, noting the cities you’ve been to is doable but it’s then not possible or very hard to then note when you visited that city and by what means of transport. It also doesn’t work for regions even though there is a whole heading for it. Tracking Canary Islands I’ve noticed is very hard. This goes for Europe I can’t comment on how good it is for America. This is also with the one time purchase which I would not recommend doing.
