## Belfast Bus Tracker Description
The Belfast Bus Tracker travel application gives you immediate access to real time information about bus services throughout Belfast, using the inbuilt GPS features of your smart phone to work out where you are and deliver live visual public transport information.

You can:

- Find stops near to where you are and see services that use each stop
- Save favourite stops so that you can find them quickly whenever you need them
- Save home and work stops so that you can see buses running on   services for those stops at a glance
- Set an alert that sounds when you approach a stop
- See a map showing bus and stop locations
- Show a list of departures from a selected stop
- See a route map showing scheduled and predicted departure times at each stop

### ****- "Great little app"
Positives

When you have your stop to work, stop to home and favourites setup the app works great. 90% of the time the app displays where the bus is on its route and lets you plan when to leave. The other times I am guessing the GPS isn’t on on the bus.

Searching by route works well when setting up your favourite stops. 

Negatives

Not the freshest UI but it works

It can be hard to find the stop you are looking for due to numerous stops with similar names. Particularly in the nearest stop feature. It would be great if it showed you which direction the bus was heading from each stop and not just in the route search.

Conclusion

Much better than the local service provider for providing real time updates on buses around Belfast.

### ****- "A bit of a basic layout"
The layout is a bit old school, and saving your favourite bus stops can be a hassle as loads of them have similar names. It's handy when the busses are running early or late, you can check the map to see where they actually are. I suspect not all buses have their tracking devices turned on though. A few times it has crashed on me or taken ages to load

I am using an iPhone X running in iOS 13 and this app no longer works properly!The green icons show on the map but when you press on the icon the service number of the bus no longer shows, so when there are numerous green icons it is not possible to determine which bus is the one you are tracking.  This is particularly problematic during peak times when there are numerous buses on the roads.  Please address this flaw.

This is a very good app. Seeing your bus on the map in real time is the best feature. Plus, the ‘Home’ and ‘Work’ buttons are great for taking a quick look at when the buses are expected.

Useful app that shows you where your bus in Belfast actually is.  Needs some improvement — the stop info for some Glider feeder services which run in a loop is inaccurate (the time for the beginning and end of the route is the same) and some East Belfast stops have been placed in the Chester/Merseyside area!
