Really cool and helpful app

I love the app. It helps me a lot!

App is a pain to setup and still confusing once setup. Also, the map feature should not be something that needs to be unlocked. It should be provided right away.

Great concept. Super laggy UI. Takes me over 1 min to add each restaurant since the app loads so slowly. The whole invite thing comes off as very pretentious and unnecessary.

It takes forever to load things on this app.

It takes 40 minutes to change your password and says that you’re having connection difficulties. Buggiest app I’ve ever used.

Great idea, needs a little more user customization to truly be a five star. It’s difficult to compare restaurants with completely different purposes (such as a breakfast place with an Indian restaurant). Instead, it would be much more useful to rank WITHIN a certain label (for example, rank all your favorite Asian restaurants) Also, custom labels would be SO MUCH MORE EASIER AND CONVENIENT. I have specific ways I want to categorize my restaurants, such as places that Person X can eat. I love the idea of the app, but without the ability to customize, it won’t really be useful for me in the end.

I’ve been using the app for a bit and I’ve been satisfied with the rating and review system, but I still feel like it lacks some features. For example, there needs to be a better system to make sure that images are labeled properly. Sometimes you’ll look at an image and the dish name is just “yum”. This bothers me because it makes it tough for people to plan what they want to order ahead of time. Additionally, there needs to be a way to enforce consistency across naming conventions such as auto capitalization for each word. Additionally, for photos containing multiple dishes, a way to tag the photos instead like on Instagram would be cool. There are also some cool features that apps like Truffle support that would be cool to have such as automatically adding restaurants you put in your story or posts into your list. Next, it would be great to be able to see and sort through all the photos you’ve posted on Beli. Finally, it needs a dark mode! Especially in dark environments when I’m trying to write a review, I open the app and am blinded! Also please add a suggestions page! If the app keeps improving and growing, I’ll improve my rating, but for now it’ll stay a 3.

Absolutely hate the rating system (which it seems like most people here do too?) and am literally only writing a review to beg the developers to get rid of it. I tap “too tough” every time because I simply don’t care about comparing and it takes way too long but I’m sure the algorithm is getting messed up since it randomly places a new restaurant in my rankings then. Besides that nice app.
