Unreliable
Repeatedly locks me out of the system necessitating a call to the help desk to reset the account. Always at the most inconvenient times. Good thing I still carry cash. Will be using online services less from now one.

I will say I do love the set up and how the app runs ect. And this may just be a me issue but I put my money into my savings account and transfer what I need when I need it so nothing can just take money out of my account and with the app constantly having issues ( errors) and not being able to log in or transfer money find myself in annoying positions I know all apps have to update and all that but no other bank app I’ve had has the constant problems this one seems to have.
In the past you were able to use the app on your iPhone and iPad. But this is no longer possible to use two devices. You instead have to log on via web URL for the second device. Which I find is less secure than using the app. It is too easy nowadays for fake URL websites. It have been possible to have list of devices with approve to use the app. Apart from this the app is fine.
Needs Net Wealth feature like every other banking app! App is generally pretty rubbish. I'm seriously considering changing banks because of this app experience.
Was absolutely awesome, but now after recent update won’t start at all on iPhone 6 Will have to go back to in branch for cash and all transactions. It’s good shows the importance of staying with CASH. Cash doesn’t need a phone upgrade, cash doesn’t get computer glitches. Proves CASH is still KING !!!!!!!!!!!
This app has made my life miserable since the first day I was forced to get it. As soon as I can change banks I will.
I’ve used most other bank apps and have just setup my first Bendigo account. The app crashes every time I swipe in from the left of the screen to go back, I know there’s arrows at the top but I’m so used to swiping now. I also find the interface quite dates and the setting very difficult to navigate. I’m still struggling to find out how to enable notifications for account transactions.
This latest version/ update is an absolute dud, now you can only have one device with the app and if you go online to do your banking it will send a code only to that device which has the Bendigo app so if that device is not with you, then you can’t log on and do internet banking on a windows type computer. I had the app on both an iPhone and iPad and could do banking on either device but now after doing the update, the App can only be on one device. Bring back the old system where we could have multiple registered devices, not just one.
I’ll mention the things I do like before I get to the bad stuff. You can ‘pay anyone’ directly out of all of your bank accounts, not just the main account linked to your card. It’s also pretty user friendly in that respect. However, it doesn’t notify you when you are receiving or withdrawing money from your account and each transaction report is far too simple, with no details on the merchant or an option to dispute (which you need to go into a branch or call up to do, which can be inconvenient if you don’t live near a branch, though this is mitigated by the fact that Bendigo are very often the only bank left in many small towns across Australia). I preferred the old style of the app when it comes to quick balances and logging in, where I could access my account from multiple devices at the same time.
You can only use the app on one device. If you set up e banking on a second device it blocks your access on the first device and on it goes. I use two different phones daily and also need to use a tablet so this is useless to me. If I had known about this before I wouldn’t have opened my account to begin with. What are couples with a joint account supposed to do? This obviously hasn’t been thought out very well. Anyway I have closed my account because of this. It shouldn’t be this hard to access my money. Bye bye
