Bernstein, M.D. Patients on the program enjoy full access to all of the features of the App, as well as personal support from our team of specially-trained nurses and doctors who help keep you on track and can monitor and treat any associated health conditions. The following features are available to Patients with an active subscription, as well as registered Guests: The Weight Tracker allows you to record and graph your weight loss progress over time. You can record your weight, the date, and a photo of yourself, viewable in the graph at any time. The information in the App's weight tracker is synchronized with the weight tracker tied to your patient portal account on Our BMI Calculator indicates a person's healthy weight range and calculates the amount of weight the user needs to lose and the expected time it would take to reach that goal while following the Bernstein At-Home Weight Loss Program. Shop our Online Store for your favourite Bernstein protein products, including bars, shakes and soups, delivered to you. In addition to the full weight loss program with one-on-one personal support, Patients with an active subscription have access to these additional features: The complete Allowed Foods list contains over 1000 popular foods allowed on the Bernstein Diet, and is fully searchable and easy to navigate. Where available, each food list item contains unique detailed information about recommended intake, allergy and dietary alerts, and manufacturer information, helping you better plan your meals and grocery shopping. Dr. Bernstein’s Recipe Book has over 500 delicious recipes, made only with items featured in our Food List. Recipes clearly indicate portion sizes and allow you to scale the yield and measurements to fit in with the rest of your meal plan. Recipes show reminders for any ingredients subject to special or unique limitations, Customizable personal settings allow you to specify any food allergies (such as gluten-free or other specific foods) or other dietary rules (such as Vegetarian, Vegan, Kosher, or Halal), which will hide any Food List items or recipes from searching or browsing that may not be suitable for your personal diet. Create shopping lists of food list items and personal favourite’s lists of food items and recipes for easier management. Record and track your food intake in our Diet Sheet. A new Biometric section now allows for recording ketone entries, blood pressure, injections monitoring and weight entries where this is reviewed by our nurses in preparation for your personal assessment appointment. The paper version of the food list has much more choice. I think the app has a little more than 500 or so options across all food categories? -- WalkM211, 2024-03-07 ### **--- "Has its quirks" It would be nice to have reminders for diet sheet input, injections, measurements, etc. Looking up recipes sometimes produces a blank screen. The app needs an overhaul. -- phantomfire78, 2023-06-26 ### *---- "Doesn’t scale properly in iPads" App doesn’t scale properly with iPads. Words are too big. Boxes overlap. Save and submit button doesn’t show when iPad in Landscape mode. -- Lovepup, 2022-05-06 ### *---- "Terrible" Hasn’t been updated in like a year. Crashes. No technical support. Great for the first 3 days it actually worked in terms of logging info. Please consider investing in updating the app and other features of the program. -- GPS/Nav user, 2020-06-21 ### ****- "It work great - then just quit" I’ve been trying for dats to open my food list. It’s not working. I’m going to try to uninstall and then reinstall, but if that doesn’t work, I’m giving up. It’s really too bad - it was a very helpful tool!! UPDATE: I uninstalled, and reinstalled, and now it’s working g fine. So, I changed my rating from a 2 to a 4 -- KimT from Edmonton, 2019-05-20 ### **--- "Recipes and Favorites need improvement" Favorites does not work: Add a recipe to favorites and later go to favorites and it’s not there. Sometimes it works, but mostly not. Then when you try to add it again it says it is already there, but it is not and there is no way to get it into the Favorites. A lot of recipes have errors in them. Some examples: 1) Some recipes do not state to cook it!! So no idea how long to cook. 2) The herbed tomato soup recipes is wonderful but we needed to add way more water than called for. 3) The apple crisp cooking time is WAY too short. 4) I could provide lots more examples Clearly the recipes are not tested and not even proof-read! C’mon, if you are going to offer recipes then please fix this! -- AppFan1293, 2019-02-01 ### ***-- "Suggestion on next upgrade" I like the APP, but a couple improvements please for next update: -when adding items to shopping list each time it asked for the serving, that should just auto copy over, it’s very annoying to have to enter the two fields every time! -for remember password it should be either remember or don’t, it is very annoying that the maximum is two weeks to remember, by that time I would have forgotten it. Im opting to just login every time which is also annoying but it’s better than the remember expiring and then I would have to reset. -- The Mrs LLC, 2019-01-17 ### *---- "I am an active member, they emailed me login details" This is frustrating, I am an active member and the log in details I am entering are what they sent me. But when I log in it’s not giving me access to my tools. It’s treating my account as a guest not cool I paid for this access. Also when I first register I couldn’t log in for 2 days. Then finally was able to log in and view things last night now I can’t? C’mon please get this working right! When it works it’s a great app but atm it’s absolutely frustrating and I am disappointed! -- Soleil G., 2018-10-08 ### *---- "App Crashes" The app is taking a really long time to log in and when it does, it freezes. -- rowenabello, 2018-07-26 ### *---- "Keeps crashing" Worked fine for my first two months but into my third month the app no longer works. Keeps crashing. I requested assistance through the app but they replied to ask at my local Bernstein clinic. It is an app problem.....now resorting to using just the website. -- Cemetery Guy, 2018-06-11 [View all Bernstein Diet reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Bernstein Diet Discovered Keywords - grocery list - grocery iq - grocery list app free ## Apps Similar to Bernstein Diet - [TELUS Health MyCare](https://apptail.io/app/telus-health-mycare-Oaq/canada) - [MyChart Network](https://apptail.io/app/mychart-network-hFv/canada) - [Medeo Virtual Healthcare](https://apptail.io/app/medeo-virtual-healthcare-yEO/canada) - [OnCall Health](https://apptail.io/app/oncall-health-GiT/canada) - [Livy Method](https://apptail.io/app/livy-method-QjT/canada) - [My EAP](https://apptail.io/app/my-eap-RjT/canada) - [Ana Fertility](https://apptail.io/app/ana-fertility-MlT/canada) - [Niagara Health Navigator](https://apptail.io/app/niagara-health-navigator-MnT/canada) ## Bernstein Diet Available In - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/bernstein-diet-LlT/canada) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/bernstein-diet-LlT/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
