This app is no good signed up for the membership, but we will be canceling it. every single time I play a movie or a show and the ads are done. It’s pauses completely every single time a commercial is done. You have to click play. I contacted support and they want all the OS models numbers of my 11 devices which has nothing to do with the issue, the issue is BET and I’m not going through the hassle of giving them ALL the model numbers of all my devices in my home I’d rather just cancel membership
It didn’t glitch before for me, but now it definitely does
I pay for premium monthly and I’m very confused about why new shows are not updated on the app. To watch the new seasons/ episodes such as Sistas, All the Queens Men, The Oval and so much more I have to search the internet when it shouldn’t be that way. I would really appreciate it that you please review and respond to this review and resolve the issue. Thank you!
I wrote a review a few weeks ago about how the this app continues to freeze and reboot. I received an email saying I should uninstall the app and reinstall it. Did that on all my devices, and it still doesn’t work properly. If I’m watching a show it will play until an Ad or commercial comes on. Then it will automatically pause. That is very annoying to continuously have to push play when the show shouldn’t stop because of an Ad showing. My second complaint is having to wait to watch certain shows. I love watching “Sistas”. However I can’t watch the new season until it’s done airing on tv. After this month, I’ll probably cancel my subscription.
This is my last month of paying for BET until they fix the glitching issue. I should be able to watch a episode and go back without the episode glitching. I should be able to log off and log back on and pick up where I left off and it does not do that. It starts all over. It should be as smooth as Netflix and Hulu and it’s not! I like the shows that they have on BET, because I am a huge Tyler Perry fan with the plays, and the TV shows and movies. But this issue is not settled by the end of this month. I’m unsubscribing from BET so no more money.
Many are talking about the glitches and the fact that you can stream BET+ for free if you have cable, but the only reason I have the app is because I signed up for the 7 day free trial to watch All the Queens Men, and let me just say, I wouldn’t pay them a dime even if they paid me to watch. I hate that the continue watching feature is not accurate. I’ll be on episode 8, but the continue watching will be on episode 4 so now, not only do I have to search for the show and find the episode that I’m actually on, but I also have to wait for all the ads to play before I can get to the specific part I left off on. Why I can’t select the episode I want to watch from the “continue watching” option doesn’t make sense to me. I have to search the show, then click on it, then click on episodes and try to remember if i was actually on episode 8. Only to start the episode, and realize after skipping towards the end that I’m actually in the middle of episode 9 (fell asleep and there is no “are you still watching” feature) so now I have to go back, select episode 9 and wait for all 7 ads to play before I can get to the part I was on. By the time I’ve done all that, I don’t even want to watch the show anymore. Imagine after going through all that, and only getting 3 mins of watch time, you’re forced to sit through another 5 mins of ads 😭. Literally deleted the app cause I’m not bout to pay for what I can literally get for free on TV.
The app has worked just fine for me. One of my favorite shows is Sistas, why does it take so long to update content onto the app? After finishing season 6 I'm waiting for season 7 to be added. Season 7 began airing in January 2024 - we are now in April and no signs of the new season on the app. It's mind boggling to me that it takes months or until the end of the season to make it available to users paying for the app. Time to step up to the other station apps out there that at the very least make content viewable the next day after airings on their apps. Perhaps in the description of the app you should add: Content is not CURRENT. That is the only issue I have with the App.
I barely got this app yesterday got real into a show then all of a sudden the app is not working please fix this asap I’m already addicted lol.. I want this app I just don’t know if it’s worth it if it’s gonna be doing this glitching
I have tried to be as patient as possible, even initially thinking the issues I have had with streaming BET+ and BET Now was all my fault. However, that is not the case. I faithfully pay my subscription yet BET APPS ARE HORRIBLE as it relates to the streaming service!! Can ANYONE at BET with tech support skills or who makes decisions please increase or decrease whatever needs to be adjusted in order to improve the streaming performance of these APPS, PLEEEEASE?!?? Thank you!
