## BG Home Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Not working on iPhone Pro Max"
Unable to set timer schedule
-- lewis.cwlee, 2025-09-30

### *---- "Iphone 13 Pro Max - double socket"
I have an Iphone 13 Pro Max with latest IOS and bought a double socket and on smart is not connecting to the item and tell to use the AP mode ( but on router I can see that is connected to 2.4ghz together with the Iphone). On AP mode is connecting to BG Home-xxxxxx the item is connected to local AP then the phone and on 3rd point the APP is trying to connect to BG Home-xxxxxx AP and fail because the lights are off
-- ionut_tic, 2025-09-15

### *---- "iOS 26 Ready????"
Hoping the developers are prepared for iOS 26 after the utter failure of the previous iOS update?
Nothing worked for weeks.
Get on it!
-- P155, 2025-09-12

### *---- "Very problematic"
Spent hours trying to connect-? Reconfigured router as per instructions. None of the help suggestions worked. This device is not fit for purpose. I have 6 of these sockets and only 3 of them will connect. Took ages to connect each one.
-- nippynorman, 2025-09-08

### *---- "Waste of time"
Just awful. Don’t waste your time. Despite following all the obvious guidelines +some, this app simply refused to connect to my smart socket. BG Socket now returned and remote switching now being handled by a Shelly mini smart relay, which just worked, as expected. Was up and running within minutes. Sadly there are some very good wifi home control apps out there. The BG App isn’t one of them
-- Techtonical, 2025-08-29

### *---- "A course in frustration"
I have followed all the instructions and no joy whatsoever, nil stars from me.
-- Bobthegate, 2025-08-26

### ***-- "iOS 18.6"
Doesn’t seem to work with iOS 18.6. I have an iPhone and iPad running on this and can’t get the app to discover smart sockets. When I install the app it doesn’t ask for local network access. When I look at local access in settings BG is not there.
I have an old iPhone 7 running 15.x where the app works as expected.

### ***** "Fantastic"
Super little piece of kit. Easy to install and very easy to use. Great features and control settings with a variety of options which makes this a fantastic addition to any home or business.
-- AndyRo11, 2025-08-10

### **--- "Not confident"
A number of regions aren’t on the location list including mine! Not instilling confidence that set of set up will go smoothly.
-- Mrs Crayon, 2025-07-31

### ***** "Great product"
Very good way to control power in the house
-- MarioLuigi2, 2025-07-22
