From page one to the final word, we believe the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus. This diverse collection of ancient books overflows with wisdom for our modern world. Many people have misunderstood the Bible as a collection of inspirational quotes or a divine instruction manual dropped from Heaven. Most of us gravitate toward sections we enjoy while avoiding parts that are confusing or even disturbing.

Our Bible resources help people experience the Bible in a way that is approachable, engaging, and transformative. We do this by showcasing the literary art of the Scriptures and tracing biblical themes from beginning to end. Rather than taking the stance of a specific tradition or denomination, we create materials to elevate the Bible for all people and draw our eyes to its unified message.

I’ve been using the BibleProject app since it became available and their website before that because it is such a wonderful resource to help me understand the message and the meaning of the Bible.  I’m so very thankful for all the people who work so hard to create so many different ways for me to interact with the Bible.  I love to learn from the classes and binge watch the videos.  The commentaries are so helpful to show the arrangement and design patterns of the books of the Bible and the theology attached to that.  When my hands are too busy I love to listen to the podcasts and hear Tim and Jon talk about so many different topics that all bring new light to the passages I’ve only slightly understood or didn’t understand for so many years. The BibleProject has helped me get through some extremely difficult times in my life. When I can’t sleep at night (which is often) I listen to their podcasts. When I’m struggling there’s always a topic, video, article that helps me reframe my thoughts. It helps me remember this is about  God’s will for my life. I ask myself “how can I learn and grow as I’m going through what feels so unfair? How can I accept my circumstance or move on from this situation?” Tim, John, and their entire crew have been given a gift of sharing the word in a way that reaches so many people right where they are at in life. I’m not being melodramatic when I say there are times God has used them to save my life. I am so grateful for this app.
