The overall improvement in winemaking combined with modern technology and innovation, and the optimization of freight and shipping has created a US marketplace unlike any other in the world. As a result, the options are abounding and seemingly endless. Exploring the wines of the world, the people behind them, and the backroads of bucolic wine regions are our reasons for being. Fine wine appreciation is one of life's greatest pleasures and pursuits. Great wine accompanies peak moments; a romantic dinner on the Italian coast, a special birthday celebration, a wedding, an anniversary, or a hamburger at a tailgate. When we find wines that brighten our day and bring a smile to our faces, we're inspired to share them, because sharing is what wine is about for us. Delivering joy to our clients is the most satisfying part of our job. Like you, we love wine Not just any old wine, the uncommonly good kind. The kind of wine that's only found by traveling to the famous wine regions (and a few up-and-coming ones) to meet the winemakers and watch the wines being made. We've developed a knack for seeking out the best new wines emerging from a crowded field. We have a nose for hidden gems. It's our mission to scour the earth to find great wines and deliver them to you. Who we are BigHammerWines.com is an online wine retailer based in California that operates a unique direct import and distribution company. By eliminating the middleman, you pay less. One of our founders is a winemaker who is trained to identify wine flaws and greatness in a unique way. With over 20 years of experience in all facets of the wine business, we've done it all. Today, we're leveraging our expertise to bring the best wines to you. How We Select and Offer Wines for Sale We only trade in fine wine. This is our expertise and passion. We're highly selective. Of 4,500 wines we taste each year, only 4% will make the grade. Our specialty is selling $40 comparable value wines for under $20. (see "Taking a Shorter Path to Happiness infographic on homepage) We operate a volume direct to consumer model, which means our pricing is similar to wholesale pricing. So low, in fact, that our suppliers often ask us to keep our sales price hidden from Google and Wine-searcher We make email and text offers to you based on your preferences (red, white, sweet, daily or weekly) We don't buy private label, white label, or control branded wines and make up suggested retail prices (SRPs) We don't pay for ratings or reviews from sommeliers As an online business we have low overheads which means lower prices for you (compare our prices against other online retailers) Our Guarantee We guarantee you'll be delighted with our selections. If you're displeased, contact us and we'll make it right. We pride ourselves with a high level of customer service. We'll attentively respond to your inquiry within 24 hours. ## Big Hammer Wines Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/6b/4f/04/6b4f0484-09f0-c2f4-f702-b52615d9fddf/73b77f74-d6ad-4568-ba1b-025abbf6c774_1.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/07/76/80/0776809c-bbf1-20f7-07aa-ffac00408f42/294313f6-8d79-4a6f-8cc7-3aa2df597935_2.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a0/85/98/a08598ba-7936-41ef-fc6b-3cbea8b00d0d/43993871-e8e0-47a7-88c1-ec21aef63ac0_3.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/51/61/2b/51612b8c-6f98-8eb9-729f-f52f821806bb/d34ed584-ffa7-41e8-87bb-9835ce668dee_4.jpg/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/2f/bd/f7/2fbdf73d-5a7a-2f43-0b1f-9ae24b7eb595/a53a0bf1-08e7-44cb-bec1-8590a032beb0_5.jpg/1242x2688.png) ## Big Hammer Wines Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 229 (90%) - 4 stars: 14 (6%) - 3 stars: 5 (2%) - 2 stars: 2 (1%) - 1 stars: 4 (2%) ## Big Hammer Wines Reviews in United States ### ***-- "Awful app, but great CO" I’m a fan of BHW, but their app is awful! No filter to only show wines available to purchase so you must scroll through too many sold out wines! Waste of time!! Also, every time I add wines to my cart and continue shopping it clears my preferences! I don’t drink white wines, only cook with them. And I prefer red blends, Cab Franc and Grenaches but can’t filter out others. Not user friendly at all.. Please fix this before I delete this cumbersome app! Never mind, deleting now after returning to my cart only to find it’s empty after writing this dismal review! -- Bourne to eat, 2025-07-28 [View all Big Hammer Wines reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Big Hammer Wines - [Wild Fork](https://apptail.io/app/wild-fork-yOK/united-states) - [The 1916 Company](https://apptail.io/app/the-1916-company-DrR/united-states) - [Bezel - Authenticated Watches](https://apptail.io/app/bezel-authenticated-watches-GrR/united-states) - [Balduccis Deals & Delivery](https://apptail.io/app/balduccis-deals-delivery-uOwb/united-states) - [Gary's](https://apptail.io/app/garys-jrxb/united-states) - [Brentwood Wine](https://apptail.io/app/brentwood-wine-pMxb/united-states) - [Unicorn Auctions](https://apptail.io/app/unicorn-auctions-vMxb/united-states) - [Acker Wines](https://apptail.io/app/acker-wines-xMxb/united-states) - [OluKai](https://apptail.io/app/olukai-sPYt/united-states) - [Grailzee](https://apptail.io/app/grailzee-eFEv/united-states) ## Big Hammer Wines Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/united-states) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/philippines) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/canada) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/chile) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/czechia) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/denmark) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/finland) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/france) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/united-kingdom) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/hong-kong) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/hungary) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/israel) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/india) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/iceland) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/south-korea) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/kuwait) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/kazakhstan) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/lithuania) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/malaysia) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/netherlands) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/pakistan) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/portugal) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/russia) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/sweden) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/singapore) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/turkey) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/uzbekistan) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/australia) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/south-africa) - [Bermuda](https://apptail.io/app/big-hammer-wines-Bqzc/bermuda) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
