Zit opeens vast aan een abonnement. Wilde premium uitproberen.
First bike navigation is ever used, not disappointing , but no comparison either. I found the website very easy to prepare routes, and made me download the app for navigation on the bike. It took me a while to understand how that worked, but after a few days I managed completely. Premium worked well on gsm, saving mobile data. Made beautiful routes along the coast of northern Portugal. Will use it again next time!
I am cycling now some years with different navigation apps. I have done this in several countries like The Netherlands (where I live) Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, France, Spain and Portugal. For me few points are important, 1. Safety. The proposed route should be as save as possible. That means avoidance of motorized traffic like cars, trucks and motorcycles. Roads with no hidden obstacles. 2. Quit beautiful nice routes. Routes along interesting points like nature or culture. 3. Pavements dat are suited for my ebike (R&M charger GT3) I tried Komoot, Naviki, Routiq, wikiloc, Google maps, Apple charts, Garmin and Bikemap. The perfect bike navigation app doesn't exist. But Bikemap comes quite near. Second best is Komoot. What I like from bike map (I used the paid version) The options to change the type of route related to the type of bike you use and the type of route you prefer. This is really there strongest point! The speed of recalculating a new route when driving wrong Interpretation of map sources related to pavement and heights The options to change the layout of the navigation screen Possibility to use your iwatch for heart rate monitoring via the Bikemap app for iwatch Audio instructions during the ride Options to choose your preferred map Route planning on several devices and online. GPS accuracy To improve, speed of reaction of compass when driving wrong, adjustable amount of spoken route instructions.
Ik ben gwn een zielig kind dat broke is en je moet er voor betalen om de route te starten nu raak ik verdwaald en ga ik dood!
Downloaden voor offline gebruik lijkt niet te werken, blijft op ca 90% hangen.
The app wonderfully know how to use existing known bicycle routes with your route. However there are a few annoying things. 1. The app asks each time after finishing a trip to save your ride. I'm not interested in this feature so please make it possible to not save your activity by default. 2. If you pause, the app imagines that you still ride, and starts to speak turn by turn navigation, if you open the app it shows indeed that it expected that you still follow through on your ride, and springs back to your current location when unlocking your phone. 3. Sometimes the navigation is buggy and will endless speak to you "go straight". 4. The app shows on the map existing bike routes, like the 'Via Rhona' but you are not able to select it, to for example follow that route. 5. Sometimes the 'recentre' button will disappear or hide behind other UI elements. Overall it feels buggy and not a finished product. On the UX side a lot can be improved. Quite disappointed that I had to pay 10 dollar for just one month.
Ik begin net deze app. te ontdekken, zit nog in mijn leunstoel en niet op de fiets. Volgende week ga ik de app. gebruiken.
I just can ‘t enter my work address as a destination from the search menu. If this simple action is already too complicated, then I ‘m out. Edit: it’s now possible to select addresses from my contacts, but the post code needs to be deleted in order to recognize it aa a destination
Map is definitely not worth it.
