## Bin Day Alert Description
Never forget when to put your bins out for collection. Is this week recycling or is that next week? Configure your different bin schedules in the app and then forget about it! Notifications will remind you when it is time to put out each type. Use the Apple Watch App or Widgets to quickly see your next collection.

Use Siri shortcuts to ask when the next collection dates are for all bin schedules, which bin schedules are due on the next collection date, or when the next collection date is for an individual schedule. Manage shortcuts in Bin Day Alert's settings screen, the Shortcuts app, or in the Siri & Search section of Apple's Settings app.

The app supports a wide range of collection schedules, making it suitable for use at home or business premises: a specific day each week; multiple days each week; a specific day every 2, 3, 4 or 5 weeks; or a specific day on one or more weeks of the month.

Each schedule can have up to two alerts. Each alert can either be for the day before or the day of the bin collection. Snooze an alert notification by 15 minutes if you're busy right now, or by 1 day/week if a public holiday has temporarily changed the bin schedule.

Going on holiday? There's a single setting to quickly disable all alerts.

Back up your bin schedules to iCloud Drive, Dropbox etc. for safekeeping. Easily share your bin schedules with neighbours so they don't have to configure the app themselves.

## Bin Day Alert Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***** "Superb"
Simple but 100% effective. Would love it if it had a pink colour option for my pink week collection of plastics - but that’s the Virgo in me! Brilliant app
-- Blueeyeddebby, 2024-11-10

### ***** "Simple and really helpful"
I can never remember which bins should go out. This simple app keeps out of they way, and provides a nice notification the night before reminding me which bin should go out. Developer is amazing, and actually answers if you raise any questions. What a great little app.
-- ableraff, 2024-05-02

### ***** "Become the streets binfluencer!"
The app just does what you want it to……..remind you what bin and when to put out (I’ll refrain from the paint reference).
After downloading it takes a few minutes to set up and voila, no more looking at ragged pieces of paper on a notice board or waiting for neighbours to put out their bin.
Now, I have become the “binfluencer” on the street as I won’t forget a collection again.
Thanks for a great and simple app that just works.
-- asmith7069, 2024-01-11

### ***** "Bin Collection calendar perfection"
Does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. I emailed developer because my glass recycling bin was on an 8 weekly schedule and lo and behold the app now has this ability. Perfect app.
-- The 2the4 kyd, 2023-01-16

### ***** "Perfection that keeps improving"
I've been using this App for a few years now. At the start it was good, but in need of a few minor improvements. The Author is "user friendly" and has an open ear.
The App soon improved and did what I needed, and more. I would be lost without it now. It's so much easier having a purpose made App than lots of entries in Calendar that take the focus away from other things.
-- MScurr, 2021-12-12

### ***** "Fixed, widgets appeared after a reboot."
editing my Home Screen to add, no widget shows up. I’ve tried searching “bin” and scrolling through the list. Running 14.5.1.
Update: I noticed the app wasn’t appearing in App Library so I rebooted and it’s resolved the widget issue. Blaming iOS rather than this app.
-- MikeGHenry, 2021-05-09

### ***** "Best bin alert by far"
So simple it’s genius! I love this app. It is so easy to use and there are a selection of coloured icons to correspond with which flavour your bin is and you can name your icon to match what is in the bin. It's brilliant and you know exactly what bins are going out on which night. I am the bin collection oracle of the street and my neighbours put their bins out in accordance with mine! I 100% recommend this app.

### ***** "Bin Day Alert"
Every necessary detail cared for. This is a really satisfying App!
-- Noddy12, 2020-11-13

### ***** "I like it"

-- Boltonboydj, 2020-09-12

### ***** "Top rate"
Excellent app, does exactly what it’s supposed to, and oh so easy to use.
