There is a Pause/Stop button on your BionicGym unit too.
Upgrade to PRO-HIIT (“unleash the full power of BionicGym”… more intense workouts and access to the HIIT programs too). In the drop-down menu select Upgrade and enter code. You then have access to the full suite of workouts.
Upgrade codes will have been emailed to you if already purchased. Or visit our webstore / in-app links.
For correct setup – so you get the best results – there are in-app videos.
Train regularly, especially in the first week or two as your body needs to adapt to the workouts.
(Assuming you are healthy and fit) increase the intensity SLOWLY during a session and from one session to the next. If you find it challenging stay at that level and let your body get used to the new intensity level – this can take a few minutes. If feeling unwell at any stage always stop.
For the first training session it is best to use it standing up beside a table or sofa to support you. Be distracted! e.g watch a video.
Try out different workouts to see what works best for you – e.g. the Zones.

Is BionicGym free?
Yes, BionicGym is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is BionicGym legit?
⚠️ The BionicGym app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
The app does what it should I suppose, but my battery indicator only ever displays two readings -100% (which it goes to after even just 3 mins of charging) and 38%. Literally just those two numbers and nothing else - so I really have no idea if I’ve got enough charge to get through a workout.
It’s flashing that it’s charging now after going from 38 to 100 in 5 mins, but clearly it’s not yet at 100 because I don’t have the solid light yet.
Relatively minor in the scheme of things I suppose but it drives me a bit nuts.
Love the device but no Apple Health?!
The device is great and I hope they update the app…but this should def have Apple Health integration!
Great app, just wish it had a couple more features.
This app is what powers the Bionic gym electro-stimulating (my word, not theirs) pads. It works very well for that purpose, and has a really nice variety of “workouts,” but I wish it could keep a record of my “ workouts,” track “streaks”and maybe send little reminders of messages of encouragement to put the pads on and get moving.
It seems most of these negative reviews are several years old. I’ve never had trouble with the app, so I’d say they’ve worked out the bugs by now.
the app works
i’m not sure what happened to the other reviewers but the app works fine on my iphone. i don’t have connection issues related to the app. any connection issues i have are related to the physical wires if i take large steps. four stars because it could be more user design friendly, look slicker, and have more tracking or educational features.
This Product Does Not Work.
If you are interested in purchasing this, don’t. I wish I had read the reviews, because I would have saved myself almost $800. Customer service continues to say they will “troubleshoot” the issue but the reality is, this product is the CEO’s way of scamming people out of their money. Save your breath and save your money. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
It won’t open
The app just sits there after I checked off the boxes.
Can’t use app on my iPhone
Ever since the developers crashed the App back in May, I haven’t been able to log in via my iPhone 11. I’ve deleted the App many times and reloaded and nothing!! I spent $700 on a piece of technology that is rendered absolutely worthless without the App to run it. Thank God I still had my old iPhone 8, I discovered that the App works as it should on that device. But I shouldn’t have to do that, what if I didn’t have a 2nd phone/device?
App is barely useable
Product is great but the app is utter trash. Which in turn makes the product a huge hassle to use...soooooo please fix the garbage app that disconnects every time the wind blows
Sunburn?
When I first tried using it, I thought I was allergic to the adhesive they used on the gel pads. It wasn’t that. It was more like a sunburn that eventually dried up and peeled away. That was in September and I’m still afraid to use it again.
Great!
The pads may lose contact w the app occasionally, but this is undeniable - heart rate up, sweating, while I work. This is a pandemic balsam for the lack of working out. I have experienced no rashes or pain (beyond what is expected from electro-muscular stim.)
