The app is an on-demand, pay-per-use service, allowing parents to book anywhere from 2 hours to 2 months in advance. Book one-time or recurring sessions with your provider. Take the stress out of finding and booking help with your kiddos - the Birdie Sitter app is your trusted, convenient source for experienced childcare and tutors. All Birdie Providers are pre-screened, undergo interviews with the Birdie Recruitment Team, are ID verified, possess up-to-date CPR/choking training, and clean enhanced Police Information Checks. Birdie providers are loving, trustworthy, reliable, individuals who are passionate about making a difference in families lives. After completing a quick 5 minute sign-up providing some details about your family, you will be able to input a desired date and time for a ‘Birdie Break’, specify if you would like childcare, tutoring or both and if you would like a one-time booking or a recurring booking. You will then start to receive submissions from available, qualified and interested providers for you to review. Provider profiles include their hourly rate, a photo and their bio. We save you time by pre-screening providers and make it convenient to book them! From date nights to uninterrupted work time to helping with online learning or homeschooling, Birdie Break has got you covered! Payment is a breeze through the app, no need to stop on the way home at the ATM! As an added bonus, ‘All Birdie Sitters do the Dishes!’ (1 sink load of dishes per booking, if time away from your littles permit). We love to add extra value for you! Birdie Break Features: Book anywhere from 2 hours to 2 months in advance. All providers are screened and interviewed by a member of our Birdie Recruitment Team. All sitters must have up-to-date CPR/choking training, clear police background checks, 1 year minimum childcare experience and are ID verified. All tutors have police background checks. Convenient payment through the app once your booking is complete. Choose your date and time, then view the profiles of all available sitters. One-time or recurring bookings available. Choose childcare, tutoring or both together in one booking! What parents are saying: “Praise was fantastic! My boys warmed up to her once I left. She’s so friendly and kind. My toddler had a blast playing with her and she was able to ease the stress of my 10 month old (separation anxiety). For sure I’ll be using Birdie Break again, and hope that Praise will be available. Thank you very much! ” — Megan L (Mom of 2 Littles) “Thank you! Jessica was nothing short of great - we were very impressed. The kids really liked her and we will definitely be using her again in the near future. I referred you guys to three other parents last night at our event.” — Celine J, (Mom of 3 Littles) “This really is a great service. We rarely go out because it is so hard to find (and trust) sitters.” — Pam G, (Mom of 3 Littles) Currently serving Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Banff/Canmore and Toronto. Sitters interested in applying can do so through the app as well. Useless app. Would not recommend -- HonestReviewMandem, 2025-08-26 ### ***-- "Based on parents needs only" Not so good for care providers -- Ga Isk, 2025-03-12 ### ***** "Great service! Easy to use!" Birdie Break has been a game-changer for us! We’ve found experienced and reliable sitters both at home and while traveling for work. The app is easy to use, and the quality of care has been fantastic every time. Highly recommend! -- ToffaFay, 2025-02-07 ### ***** "AMAZING!" Been using birdie for a few years, it’s been a godsend. Finally sitters we know we can trust with our babies when we need a date night or break. -- AlisallG93, 2025-02-05 ### ***** "Superior" Birdie is great and has provided us with some really qualified sitters. -- Kel DG, 2025-01-26 ### ***** "Been using for year - amazing!!" We have been using Birdie Break for a few years now and I cannot express how much we love it! The sitters that we have uses have all been amazing with our two boys, helpful around the house and so kind and flexible. My youngest has Cerebral Palsy, and I was very hesitant to find someone who I could trust to watch him. Having the option to choose a sitter, and build the relationships you do with them has made the process easier and I have been able to take those breaks with ease. Admin is quick to help whenever I have a concern or questions - they even helped find us a sitter last minute when the original one I booked had to cancel last minute. Highly recommend! -- Epockett, 2025-01-21 ### ****- "Great service!" We have been using the app for a couple years now and have met several great and reliable babysitters who we continue to book through the app. The ease of payment and booking is great. I’ve had great experiences with the customer service when necessary (not often) as well. Highly recommend! -- val_97, 2025-01-15 ### *---- "Dont Interview or Email Back" When signing up to be a sitter the wait time is approximately a week to hear back with an interview. Its been a month since sign up and i have contacted support 2-3 times with zero response. If your looking to start your babysitting journey, dont expect anything from here. -- ilovethis1000, 2024-09-22 ### *---- "Unreliable, avoid!" Babysitter bailed without notifying us just hours before the booking. Had to find out by actively searching to contact her through the Birdie organization. Unreliable, avoid! -- Stuart Serge, 2024-09-02 ### *---- "Glitch in app" Won’t let me create a password even though I am following the guidelines. -- 79bjao)?, 2024-03-25 [View all Birdie Break reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Birdie Break -
