There are not enough illustrations. Every time I want to look up a family the search function I can’t see all the members because the keyboard blocks the bottom of the page. Cancelling the search takes me back to the beginning and I have to scroll through the whole darn list. The life list function does not record date or location. I thought I was supposed to be able to use this and it would share my information with eBird. So now I have to keep a paper list. The images are very good and it looks like there are more compared to the book. The main advantage to the app is the calls. It also lets you narrow down the species by 6 regions. There are size, habitat and color filters as well that didn't work great for me but I've never been impressed with these features in other bird guide apps, so par for the course.
