## BlackVue Description
The Official BlackVue Dash Cameras app.
Taking advantage of a mobile or car-embedded Internet connection and a BlackVue dashcam, BlackVue Cloud connects you to your car through the Cloud. Using the BlackVue App on your smartphone or tablet, you see in real time where your car is located and what is happening around it.

Firmware update over the air
You can access your dashcam through a direct connection via Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can access all the videos stored on the dashcam's microSD card, adjust the camera angle, and modify BlackVue's settings as needed. You can also apply firmware updates wirelessly (FOTA).
BlackVue Cloud is a dedicated service for BlackVue users that allows you to access your BlackVue from anywhere at any time. Creating a BlackVue Cloud account is simple and free. After creating an account, you can register your Cloud-compatible BlackVue in the app and configure it to connect to your hotspot.

Unfortunately, the BlackVue app does not live up to the standards set by the hardware. Here are some key issues I’ve encountered:
	•	Connectivity Problems: The app struggles with maintaining a stable connection to the dash cam. This can be frustrating, especially when you need to access footage quickly.
	•	User Interface: The app’s interface feels cluttered and is not user-friendly. Navigating through settings and accessing video files can be a cumbersome process.
	•	Cloud Storage Access: Although I’m paying for cloud storage, accessing my videos has been inconsistent. There have been times when I couldn’t retrieve footage when I needed it most.
Final Thoughts
Given these challenges, I cannot recommend BlackVue’s dash cams wholeheartedly. While the camera performance is commendable, the app experience significantly undermines its value. There are other brands on the market that offer comparable video quality with a more reliable and user-friendly app experience. If seamless integration and ease of use are priorities for you, it might be worth exploring those alternatives.
