BLEASS Omega brings the sparkle, character and dynamic expressiveness of FM synthesis into an intuitive, hands-on instrument. Its four FM operators are edited simultaneously from a single screen, removing much of the complexity traditionally associated with FM synthesis. Eleven algorithms open up a wide sonic range, from electric pianos, deep basses and crystal-clear pads to sparkling bells and soulful leads. Beyond pure FM tones, an analogue-style waveshaper and multi-mode filter bring additional warmth, distortion, resonant sweeps and harmonic colour. All operator envelopes and controls remain immediately accessible, encouraging experimentation rather than programming by numbers, while MPE support adds another layer of expression for compatible workflows. Four built-in effects, Chorus, Tremolo, Delay and Reverb, add movement, depth and space directly within the synth. More than 200 professionally designed presets showcase Omega’s versatility and provide instant starting points for music production and sound design. BLEASS Omega can be used as a standalone app or AUv3 instrument on iPhone and iPad. It is also available for Windows and macOS. I was asking myself “don’t I have enough synths? Isn’t fm kinda dull and overdone?”. But this is Bleass! They make the normally boring effects exciting and amazing, and now they’ve made FM amazing and easy. Wish they’d improve the left/right arrows for the algorithm selection though. Too easily it brings up the algorithm menu instead of just switching between algorithms. Maybe long press for the menu instead? This is also true on my 8th gen iPad. Otherwise this is a must, and the only fm synth you need on iOS -- midi fister, 2022-01-24 ### ***** "Omega crashes if I try to use it with Bluetooth" Omega crashes if I try to use it with my Bluetooth headphones, when I play/hold note/s. Everything else, so far, is BLEASS at their best with BLEASS Omega❣️ ❤️🎹 Using the familiar ‘tabbed’ approach to present a wealth of control and modulation ability, all the while making FM Synthesis easily assessable. I’m glad BLEASS included their Motion Sequencer! Excellent sound quality as I listen to crisp, glistening, crystalline ice crystals faintly echoing. And that Wave Shaper can get ‘sick’ at times. Now to see what else I’ll create with BLEASS Omega. Purchased all the presets for when my Muses’ are playing somewhere else for inspiration.
