After I paid for the app now it’s blocked behind a subscription. Do not pay for this app!
This used to be an open source app with paid option using the appstore. Now it has been turned into subscription model. Source is no longer updated. Good bye.
I have paid for the previous version, but apparently as a casual user (only use mosh twice a year while travelling) I can go scr** myself and start paying through the nose. Well, goodbye.
For some reason I got the notification to upgrade before the 15th of April today, the 12th of August. Almost 4 months too late, even though I use the app regularly (couple times per month). I loved using Blink but apparently it's a dead end now
I have used the now ‘legacy’ version on and off for quite a few years, but today discovered that i apparently missed the upgrade deadline of last april 15th, since the suggested update does not seem to work anymore. The new version only offers subscription based features, which is something that does not work for me, as i am an off and on user, that will at times not use the tool for a longer period of time. A pre-paid model, or pay once model, works much better in such situations, which was the case with the now ‘legacy’ version. Sadly, this means i will have to find a new app for my shell access.
If you are serious about using your iPad/iPhone to access machines remotely via SSH/Telnet/Mosh/… and be as productive, if not more so, as on your desktop pc, look no further because this app can almost certainly do what you want. And I can attest that as long as I’ve been using the app, many improvements and new features have been added, making this a no-brainer for any coder or admin that considers themselves a power-user.
This used to be paid for those pro features, but now it spits in your face unless you subscribe.
Big scam!
