The choice of daily free titles is terrible, the shorts are just awful. If one is expected to pay so much each year, the least one expects is a free trial where there is some personal choice of books.
Beware of in app auto renewal
Need to turn off auto renewal in app.
Nice reads
Always we get up to date and interesting books that everyone is talking about. Some classics too I might add.
Not downloading
I subscribed for premium so I can download books for cases there are poor signal in the metro. But it just won’t download. I tried log out and log in and I tried re installing the app and it is just the same. This is frustrating. Please fix the download feature.
Needs better features
App needs to be able to create dynamic playlists, which can be modified on the fly and even shared with others.
Great app but can be more detailed
I’ve been using this app for 3 months , overall great app to be exposed to multiple subjects. However my husband & I feel that the level of detail in the summary is often missing - sometimes overly simplistic - almost intended for the average mind. It would be wonderful if they can offer 2 options for every book - eg 10 min or 20 min summaries. This is especially so in the age of free AI and online book summaries.. 2) If I fall asleep while listening, and the app would automatically play the next book and so on. I would hope there is a way to unmark the ‘read books’. That aside, overall good app.
Fault Report
The App keeps showing a roundup of my 2023 reading achievements, but the results are not useful to me at all, for the statistics are not showing correctly. It prevents me from reading my stuff! Can you please stop it from popping up?
Good
Never liked listening to audiobooks before Blinkist. In Blinkist, the reader tone is not monotonous, so easy to understand. It’s a good summary of key points in the book.
Disappointing customer service
I recently requested a cancellation with a refund from Blinkist and, to my dismay, have not received any response after three days. The only communication I got was a generic, system-generated reply. This lack of customer support is highly frustrating and reflects poorly on the company's commitment to its users. Considering the abundance of alternatives in the market, I expected better service.
