best hacks ever. my school ipad has “school hour mode” which blocks sites and apps. “after school hour mode” gives you app store. blocking “mobileguardian.com” allows me to use any app in school. thank you for saving me.

I downloaded it after several unsuccessful attempts to use vpns to block youtube. When I downloaded it, I was very happy to see that 1)even though there was a premium subscription, I could still use without paying, and 2) it actually works. Now, I can finally be productive.
Helps to keep focused
Easy to use, helps block out websites that waste time - already feeling a difference!
Stealing my mobile data
Checked my data usage to see that the app had use 10GB in a week running in the back. Overall the app is good but definitely not using it anymore
Not worth the hassle
The VPN frequently interferes with connectivity. From unblocked sites taking forever to load. Spotify saying it can't play a song. And worst of all Facebook messenger app not loading at all, after resetting my device, downloading messenger, still could’t get past the “error” message. As soon as I deleted the VPN block site uses for it's functionality it worked immediately. I did not block Facebook in my app either. Not great, just use screentime or content restrictions.
