## Bloom Description
Most screen time apps fail because they’re easy to bypass. Bloom was created to fix that.

Bloom revolutionizes your productivity by requiring you to scan an NFC keycard to your phone to access distracting apps.

**How It Works**
- Choose Your Distractions: Select the apps or websites you find most distracting.
- Block Your Distractions: Tap your Bloom card to your phone to block those apps.
- Live Distraction-Free: Stay productive with your card out of reach. When ready, just tap your Bloom card to your phone to unblock your apps.

**Features**
- Schedules: Set personalized schedules for your focus periods, allowing them to start and end automatically.
- Breaks: Use your apps mindfully by setting limits on the frequency and duration of your breaks.
- Strict Mode: Disable your ability to delete the Bloom app while in focus mode (optional).
- Emergency Exits: Unblock all of your apps without your bloom card up to three times.

**Why Bloom**
- Spend less time on your phone and more time doing things that actually matter.
- Improve your work habits by blocking out distractions.
- Our physical solution is the ultimate solution for digital detox and time management.

With Bloom’s NFC keycard, you can leave the “key” to your distractions behind, ensuring you stay focused and productive.

Find your Bloom today and enjoy life beyond your phone!

(We prioritize your privacy—your screen time data stays securely on your device and is never shared or stored elsewhere).

## Bloom Reviews in United States

### ***** "Excellent"
If you turn on strict mode you can’t even delete the app
-- Smitzlean, 2025-03-20

### ***** "Life-Changing"
This has made a huge impact in my life. The card aspect has helped keep me accountable when in focus mode to ensure I meet my studying goals or when doing an assignment/project. It’s been crucial especially during midterm season, where I had to study for multiple midterms within a week. To whoever is reading this, give it a shot. It will make a huge positive impact in taking back the time you spend on your phone.
-- Hugo_Canseco, 2025-03-03

### ***** "perhaps the ‘last app’ (and the only one you really *need)"
This was an incidental discovery, but after integrating this tool into my life over the past two months and one who has used and been interested in similar companies, my conclusion that this is the best if not one of the best screen time product-offerings on the market today warranted one of my only Apple app reviews over the past decade.

‘Bloom’ is a modern, easy to use app that if used seriously can curb your toxic screen time from 5-10 hours a day to <1 hour.

I have all distracting/dopamine-doom scroll applications blocked and have Bloom on at default on my iPhone now. I just use the app itself not the card so I basically have no temptation or withdrawal even possible. If I *need to use X or Instagram etc for whatever reason (almost never) then I can use one of the three, daily 5-min breaks—or simply get on my laptop.

Given the immense and appreciable impact this has bloomed for my daily life and mental health/energy, I would not be surprised if years from now I look back at this moment as one of the most consequential habit-change of my adult life.
-- reed.yos, 2025-02-20

### ***** "Skip the others!"
My main reason for choosing Bloom and writing this review is that I have paid for two other “device” / “nfc” app blockers before —> one of them was kickstarted and only introduced their subscription plan (required for blocking more than two apps) after it launched — the other works great, but can only block or unblock with nfc; no schedules. They were Unpluq and Brick respectively.

I’m no programmer and I’m sure every company had their reasons, but Bloom demonstrates the business model can work without subscription and that scheduling blocks should be a no brainer for app developers of this kind. I’d rather pay the $30 for a Bloom nfc card a dozen times over than be stuck to a subscription. I have already planned to buy these for my friends and family.
-- Juno Gold, 2025-02-19

### ***** "Love it"
This app and the concept is amazing! I got my card while it was around $20 and started using it and it definitely helps. I wish that a certain session would have 3 blocks per session rather then only 3 per day.
-- SahHoq88, 2025-01-30

### ***-- "Glitchy but functional"
A little glitchy, freezes a lot. Otherwise so far so good
-- Hens1139, 2025-01-21

### **--- "Great Features, Frustrating Flaws"
I chose Bloom mainly for its favorable price and the scheduling feature, which is great for automatically starting focus sessions at set times, particularly for sleep and wind-down times. However, the app is extremely buggy, often crashing when selecting apps for the blocklist and failing to save settings, which makes it almost unusable. Additionally, the physical card it comes with is unnecessarily thick, trying to replicate a premium credit card feel, which isn’t needed. It would be much better if it were thinner and more discreet for easier storage in a wallet. Overall, Bloom gets two stars until these issues are resolved.
-- Z.W. Libow, 2025-01-16

### ***-- "Doesn’t block all apps"
Even when you select the app to block, it can still be opened. Major bug.
-- 808bangah808x, 2025-01-09

### ***** "way better than screen time by apple"
I used to use screen time by Apple, but I consistently found it ineffective which is when I found Bloom. since then I’ve been using Bloom every day. It is the first solution that tangibly has reduced the amount of time I spend on my phone.
-- ts22poppin, 2024-12-26

### ***** "An App Like Nothing We’ve Seen Before"
Sometimes it’s okay to revel in the mundane and step away from the baseless speculation about aliens and the government’s best interests that often occurs online. Life is much richer without the noise!

I highly recommend!
