Blossom Parent App

Some of you will know the reference of “would anyone like any toast…so you’re a waffle man”. Well the notifications of this app are just as annoying. Yes I have checked out the diary entry, no I don’t wish to do it again. Oh look you’ve emailed me to get me to check the diary entry. Also, why after every update do I need to log in as if I’m new to the app? This is 2024 get FaceTime activated already.

This app glitches and log out every 5 secs

The app closes itself down when selecting ‘golden moments’. Told the nursery who said they are aware and lots of parents have reported the same thing and that they have reported it already to Blossom. That was weeks ago and nothing has changed.

I love that I can get daily updates about my daughter in nursery. What she eats, her development, milestones etc. it’s a great app

Just swapped from the Famly app to this and I don’t like it at all! Cannot figure out the things that were easy basics on the Famly app. Not good ☹️

Slow and never loads

This app frequently fails to load child updates (surely that’s it’s main function?!). Additionally it now seems to be duplicating days- eg todays update just came through but is an exact copy of yesterdays. So I’ve no idea what my child did today. Final bugbear is that it logs me out with every update they push- why? No other app I have does this.

Please allow biometric logins, the app constantly log users out, frustrating user experience. Great to see full screen photos but the back button hardly ever works due to it position on the screen making getting back to the text difficult.

Apps ok but has bugs on iPhone 15. A few examples 1. The back buttons when you open a golden moment don’t work as they are right next to the clock and are impossible to use. They simply don’t work 2. The app does not update if you leave it “running” in the background. You get a message saying diary updated, you go to the app and it’s not and get stuck in limbo. You then have to close and restart 3. Feedback and support doesn’t work unless you have the default mail app installed. There is no way to send feedback without it. Hence the bugs in this review!

Very good app apart from the back button on the top left of the screen fails to work regularly
