Poor design

Since I am not a dab hand typing on the phone or remembering passwords I shall never use it. Mainly wanted it for a convenient access to my medical card. Quicker to find a hard copy in my wallet.

Why can’t I download my Billing or EOB?

If the app is unsupported - just say so

Under maintenance for weeks

So… out of curiosity, is the app ever not going to be under maintenance? I haven’t been able to login due to this for about 3 weeks now whereabouts. And yes I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No I’m not missing updates. Still can’t login on the app. “Sorry under maintenance call us” yatta Yatta Yatta.

App is extremely laggy, and it takes reloading the app a good 4-5 times before I can actually do what I need to. And that’s not counting the times it crashes on me. Teladoc seems to be the hardest part to access via the app. Going online on a computer, etc. is way more reliable for me.

This APP is not secure!

Blue shield will not respond to messages from this app. When I asked the representative why, he said that it is not secure!! They all your information on a unsecured app! This is straight from the blue shield fraud department. Delete this app if you have it!

Not much you can do with the app

The app is very basic and even basic functions don’t work. For instance I have a pop up right now that has an X on it to close but it won’t close. In addition I got an advertisement signed by the VP of blue shield of Ca to access teladoc through the BSoCA app but nowhere on any corner of this app can I find anything for teladoc. This is made even more frustrating when I have emailed blue shield for support and received no reply literally months later. Guess I’ll go to urgent care.

Useless

This apps been “unavailable due to maintenance” or something since I downloaded it a month ago. 🗑️

Never been able to login

I’ve literally never been able to login on this app. I also can’t login on a browser and nobody can tell me why. Why am I paying bills on the phone to get coverage I can’t use because I can’t access my account? I’ve spent over a year (and thousands on coverage) trying to just simply use my insurance and nobody can give me answers besides create a new account. Which I’ve already had to do, mind you they made me wait til open enrollment because they wanted me to backpay for the coverage they wouldn’t let me use? They couldn’t figure it out then and I went through all of their hoops just to have the same issues all over again.

Can’t connect to Teladoc

Just says “connecting” but never does. Been trying for days. Used to work fine. Called customer support and they verified the outage.

Where is the digital insurance card?!

Every other medical insurance company will allow you to see your digital insurance card on their app, why doesn’t this?! I haven’t received my physical insurance card after 2 months so far with the company, what am I meant to do at this point when I’m sitting at a doctors office?!
