This app has been a lifesaver for my family so many times. Especially with two kids in school, it can be difficult to get timely care needed from our regular doctor when the kids have symptoms. Blueberry is fast, easy, and professional. We’ve worked with several of the doctors and have been pleased with all of them. Blueberry is such a lifesaver.

Blueberry will try to charge you twice in one year and withhold services until you fork over more money even if you’ve already paid. I paid last October. Tried to use the app today. Didn’t work. Reached out to the support team, they asked for more money. I refused. They said their system doesn’t show I paid even though they admitted that their system supposedly allowed me to continue with services even though “I hadn’t paid for the year”. I know I paid. I’ve been using the app with no issue up until now. Maybe the company is having financial issues & this a bizarre way of preventing them from going under. Anyways, don’t use blueberry. They’re a scam as far as I’m concerned.

The scope video never uploads right to them. The whole UX is badly designed with regard to integration of that video which is required for 90% of the reasons I’d call them. Fix your tech and Ux so the videos actually load right for the provider. Make it simple for both parent and doctor.

I’ve had this app a little over a year and it was good at first, but I guess since so many people have started hearing about it, the wait times are just too long. The past few times I’ve used it I’ve had to wait at least an hour for a doctor to call back. Recently just waited over an hour to see about a possible allergic reaction to antibiotics (ended up needing to medicate with Benadryl while waiting).

We have three school aged kids. At $20/month to cover all three kids this app is like stealing. We use the service AT LEAST once per month. Just today we used an at home strep test for our oldest, he is positive, Blueberry responded to our visit request within an hour, submitted a prescription and he has his first dose in him within 2 hours of my test results. With my insurance that would have cost me over $200 for an office visit and a strep test. If you have more than one kid and you don’t have Blueberry you are wasting money and time.

I have nothing but good things to say about Blueberry!! I did the math today and we’ve saved over $100 on sick visits so far and have only had this for 4 months. Every doctor is so kind and validating towards me. I feel like they truly care how my kids are doing and I am so thankful this exists!! My only suggestion would be to be able to have an option where I can do an appointment for more than 1 child at a time. One time both my kids had croup and I had to make separate appointments for them to get medication prescribed. But it still was better than dragging them both to an urgent care! (We were on vacation too!!) So happy we have blueberry!!!

I have had two attempts at using this app since I’ve downloaded it, and both times it has been absolutely useless and I’ve had to take my kids to the pediatrician anyway. Really regretting the $ spent on this! Don’t do it!

Sometimes takes just as long as an ER visit before getting a response telling you to take them in

I love this service. My son has recurring ear infections and it’s so helpful to be able to examine his ears at home but also skip the ER where he might catch other infections. I think so tech aspects could be improved like loading a video/photo. I couldn’t see if it worked and it was super buggy (the doctor could see it though). Also it’d be great to have an estimate or some kind of indication of the wait. Even if it’s a ballpark. We waited 2hrs which is fine since we were home but not ideal since we wanted to make sure we wouldn’t miss the call.

After so much hype and excitement about the app, I felt the “virtual” visit is more or less a phone call from the pediatrician each time. This really decreased the value of each “visit” since the doctor doesn’t see us and we don’t see the doctor. I would recommend the virtual experience being updated to a phone call experience so we can show in real time what happens to our child and why we need a doctor.
